I waited 6 months to write this review in anticipation that someone would reach out and check on me…read moreafter seriously screwing up my face. I saw Nena in April for lip and other fillers before a trip. a few days before I left, I noticed my face was uneven and called back to try to get in before my trip. The front desk dismissed my concerns of an uneven appearance and told me things needed to settle. On my trip the unevenness got worse and my face looked paralyzed. When I returned I scheduled an appointment and discovered that I was injected with Botox in my lips instead of filler causing the appearance of Bells Palsy. I further discovered that assistants in training are allowed to handle the product and unused products are being used on other people. How do you allow anyone but the injector to handle the products? How do you know how much is injected when you pay for a syringe and they are using left overs? In 6 months no one has reached out to me to follow up. No one offered a refund for the fact that I walked around with a paralyzed looking face on my vacation. I gave them 6 months to make it right and crickets. In my experience with a more reputable place: you should always see the product in a sealed container before allowing the injections.

His goal and focus on symmetry, a natural looking outcome, and above all, his patients being happy with his work, are definitely behind his consistent results and reputation. Dr. Zapiach has a talent for assessing what may need improvement, while also being quite honest about what he thinks may be too much or won't look good. He spent added time balancing out my jawline, which I was so happy he did! He similarly did a great job balancing out one of my son's colleague's face, which she is extremely happy with. I can't say enough about Dr. Zapiach's talents, attention to detail, and his genuine compassion as a person. His office staff is also very attentive and caring, which I and my family appreciate.

This review is for pediatric dermatology based on 3 visits this year…read more My baby developed terrible skin issues (imagine eczema skin that is starting to look like burn skin). We saw his pediatrician and local dermatologist but his skin progressively got worse. Couple local moms recommended Dr Chun despite being over half hour drive away. I took the chance because his skin was out of control and he was only 4 months old. I am SO glad I did. After hearing my baby's issues, scheduling lady squeezed me in for the first appointment available. Dr Chun checked his body and then came back with recommendation. She spent time explaining to us what her diagnosis is and what the treatment plan entails. After following her treatment plan, his skin started to clear up in 3 days! We had a follow up appointment to see how he was doing. For our second appt, we waited about 30-45 mins and the actual appt was probably like 10 mins. As much as I would love for appointments to run on time, I think we should have more empathy since we do not know what Dr Chun is going through. For our first appt, I was a hot mess and appreciated that she spent time with us (I won't be surprised if we caused some delays). Sadly 6 months later, my baby's skin flared up again and it got infected. We had to see Dr Chun for the third time. After following her treatment plan, his skin improved drastically after couple days. I can't emphasize how great her treatment plan is. She is literally a miracle worker. Note: we had an insurance issue with one of the ointments prescribed because CVS wanted to charge us $500! They helped us find another pharmacy who charged us $45.

I had a frustrating experience at this practice. My child's appointment was scheduled for 5:30 PM,…read moreand we arrived at 5:15 PM. Upon check-in, I was asked whether I had completed paperwork that I had never received in advance. The waiting room was packed, with what appeared to be 15-20 families waiting. We then sat for nearly an hour past our appointment time. At 6:20 PM, after I asked why we were running almost an hour behind schedule, we were suddenly called back immediately. What was most disappointing was that we never actually saw the dermatologist. Instead, we were seen by a PA, who was lovely, professional, and genuinely helpful. However, it felt as though she was sent in response to my expressed frustration. When I later asked the front desk whether evening appointments are typically this delayed, I was told that evenings are usually "hectic." That response suggests this wasn't an unusual occurrence but rather an expected part of the schedule. The recommendation for my child was to return for 3-6 additional wart treatments. Unfortunately, there is no scenario in which I'm going to drive 30 minutes to Paramus, wait an hour or more, and then have a five-minute procedure repeated multiple times. I understand that delays happen in medicine, especially in pediatrics. But if evening appointments are consistently running this far behind, the practice needs to either schedule fewer patients or add more support. Families are balancing work, commutes, dinner, homework, etc. Waiting nearly an hour past an appointment time without communication is not respectful. Scheduling, wait times & office management left a lot to be desired.

I am deeply disappointed with the care I received during and after MOHS surgery performed by Dr…read more Margarita Lolis. The procedure left the left side of my face visibly damaged. I returned to the office a month later, distressed and seeking help, as my face hadn't healed as expected. Unfortunately, Dr. Margarita Lolis showed a noticeable lack of compassion and concern. Our follow-up appointment lasted barely three minutes, and she offered little guidance or reassurance. This experience left me feeling neglected and unsupported during what has been a difficult time. I would recommend others to carefully consider their options for facial surgery and thoroughly assess a doctor's willingness to provide comprehensive post-operative care and support. Be careful of these "good reviews", in my opinion they are not true and planted! I took the advice from the PA at the Schweiger Rutherford, NJ Office to use her as my surgeon and never checked the reviews, I made a terrible mistake! I called Dr. Landmann's office to inquire about an under-eye consultation and was initially quoted…read more$285. During the conversation, I simply mentioned that I had previously had facial fat grafting as part of my cosmetic history. I was then told the consultation would be $400. To be clear, I am not seeking revision surgery. I have not had a failed procedure that needs to be corrected. I simply disclosed that I had previously had fat grafting to my face. When I asked why that changed a $285 consultation into a $400 consultation, the response I received was dismissive and unnecessarily rude. That interaction immediately raised a larger question for me: why would I pay $400 just to consult with a Bergen County practice when Manhattan is minutes away and offers access to some of the country's most experienced oculoplastic and facial plastic surgeons--physicians whose practices encompass complex lower-eyelid surgery, tear-trough correction, fat repositioning, orbital and midface work--often with more reasonable or clearly explained consultation policies? Cosmetic medicine has entered an era of extraordinary pricing: consultation fees, procedure fees and seemingly endless tiers of additional charges. Expertise deserves to be compensated. But increasingly inflated pricing does not automatically equal greater expertise. Patients--particularly women, who make up such a large percentage of the cosmetic surgery market--should be able to ask a simple question about a fee without being treated as though they're inconveniencing the office. A $400 consultation fee because I disclosed prior facial fat grafting, combined with the attitude I received when I questioned it, was enough for me. There are simply too many exceptional specialists in New York and New Jersey competing for patients to tolerate this kind of experience. Expertise matters. So do transparency, professionalism and humility. For me: thank you but no thank you.
