i hired nicole and paid her over $500.00 to write and submit an 2 oppositions. she did a rush job and 1 opposition was rejected by the court. #2 opposiotion just blsintenly forgot to file with the court. she did not tell me i found out at the day of my hearing inwhich i lost that motion.ive asked for a refund and im still waiting for it?? its going to be 30days. i belive if you hire someone, they need to be fully responsible & honest to finish the job, if not and or a mistake happens let the client know and prompptly resolve or give a refund. in my case she was trying to hide it by not saying anything making me believe it was filed. now im done arguing back in fourth with her trying to avoid her mistake. my next step is filing a small claims, submit a complaint with state bar association & paralegal association for that area. read more

Here is an update with screenshots of my text messages with the owner Nicole. She clearly states she would give me a refund within a couple weeks. I waited a couple weeks and she kept stringing me along. My sense was that she is in financial trouble and needed my money to stay afloat. The end result is that a 20 minute phone conversation costed me $1000. Her advice was innacurate, she did not know the law nor was she qualified to write RFO's without the supervision of a bar licensed attorney, if a Paralegal can perform the same duties as a lawyer without passing the bar why would anyone go through the trouble of law school? Again, VERY shady character....if you are in a position like I am just trying to take care of my son but have limited funds to hire an expensive lawyer PLEASE do not waste your money with this woman. This is only a critique on one thing that happened, and not to be construed that Nicole isn't a good paralegal: Nicole told me she could file papers for an Appeal for me. She told me it would be easy and that I'd have to give a 15 minute talk to the Court of Appeals at end. She filed two papers and a third was due, she told me at that time I could get a "Stay" to continue to reside in my house. About that time I wrote off an email to a few people who knew the law and were advising me. One lady decided to get into DIRECT contact with Nicole, (got Nicole's email off cc list). Unbeknownst to me, THEY had a terrible, awful, argument over something to do with case and to this day, I'm not even sure what it was about. Nicole called me in a fury and said she never told me she was sure a "Stay" was even possible according to the law. NICOLE QUIT MY CASE and was angry with me, as only Nicole can get...furious. I did say that Nicole said I could get a stay, then later denied it, but it turned out that I hired an attorney who said I could file for a STAY and I did. I SENT AN EMAIL OF APOLOGY TO NICOLE for what my friend did without even consulting me. Whole thing was a disaster... I wanted to put "no rating" on this, as there was no where to put it, I just put a 1, since changed to 3. This critique was not done on purpose. This yelp account came up when I was looking at paralegals to do more work for me today. When I saw her name, I thought I would put down what happened in my case. 95% of the time Nicole was always supportive of me. It's unfortunate, but these things happen to the best of us. read more

DO NOT use this service. Based on guidance by Attorneys I looked for a paralegal to help me reformat my denied (not rejected but denied) submittal for a Request for Order Shortening Time. That is, in order to make it Meet Rule 5.151 in terms of formatting. In an email exchange, I spelled out a request for services to revise my submittal to the Court accordingly because it was denied for not meeting Rule 5.151. It's all detailed in an email chain. Nicole accepted the work. It was due by 10/30. No response so I had to follow up. She said she would have it by Friday 11/1. No response so I had to follow up. She didnt have it to me until latter part of the weekend. When I looked at it-- it was mostly what I already put together with some minor tweaks. Tweaks that made it less comprehensible. She revised my Declaration in a way that no longer made it make sense. It was as if she just ran it through ChatGPT. I gave her the list of errors and discrepancies. Including the Rule stated in the document she generated where she wrote Rule 5.1.51 when thats not the right rule, its 5.151. I asked her -- what about this package that she gave me Meets Rule 5.151. She repeatedly failed to response to the question. In the end she indicated that the Judge wont accept it because it was Denied. I reminded her she accepted the work despite being told it was Denied. Therefore, she accepted the work and payment knowing she could not do the work. Because I told her in the email it was Denied. Clearly, a fraud was perpetrated and she failed to perform as agreed. And, what's worse is that she is failing to give a 100% refund despite the issue. I will see about posting redacted versions of the email exchange when I have a moment. read more

Her work was poor, she basically did data entry and charge me over $750, she is NOT Professional, she did not even proof my documents, she send them to court with so many spelling mistakes, she did not send the proof of service to court which was very important and her job, she is just a terrible paralegal.
