The top 2 things I love about LBC is the safety and the community. Both of these are for everybody, all are welcome. I've taken 3 improv classes now and might someday shed my fear to try standup. Safety: the club has a no heckling policy. Getting up on stage in front of people is hard. Sitting in a dark crowd and offering shitty criticism is easy. I appreciate each and every person that's getting up there to try and entertain a crowd - it's a lot of work conquering your anxiety in the spotlight, and nobody gets it right 100% of the time. LBC is a place that welcomes people to start for the first time and go on a learning journey. We may not be NYC but I think it's pretty damn good for MT. Safety was something stressed in Improv 1 and I appreciated that (stressing it in all classes would be cool too). Community: come more than just one night to LBC and you'll quickly realize that the team behind LBC has built a pretty cool community of folks that care about making others laugh. People in the community care about connection, and realize that the diversity of that community can have it's challenges, but those are also the things that make it special. These guys are a class act. I've taken several classes and workshops with LBC and had a fabulous experience. Their teachers are fun and encouraging. There's no spirit of competition here, only fun and encouragement. Also really high quality improv and standup shows here 6 nights a week! read more

Came for the anniversary show, we had a great time! Prices were really reasonable at $15 a ticket, and we were able to just walk in and grab them. It filled up about 10 minutes before the show and the laughter didn't stop the whole time. We got three drinks and paid around $20. Drinks were well made (Emily was the bartender and so fun to talk to). There were a few stand up acts that bombed harder than I've seen before. Overall though, this is the best improv I have ever seen and made me realize I have been missing out!!! Huge fans of the owners- absolutely hilarious. read more

Worst comedy show I have ever been too! Don't waste your money and time. Every comedian except for one was binary, polyamorous, lesbian, trans, and every joke was about their lifestyle. If you are heterosexual or don't understand this lifestyle- it comes off like an awkward therapy session that you are forced to sit through. Jokes are not at all funny, just gross and boring. Wish I could get my money and my time I endured this shit show refunded . read more

I can't think of a better place to spend quality time with such supportive and goofy people. Go to watch improv, volunteer when they ask, put yourself out there! Maybe you have a joke you think could get some laughs? They have stand up open mics with the biggest safety net to fall back on. I couldn't recommend this LBC more. Take all my money. When traveling we like to check out local comedy clubs. We took in a comedy show at LAST BEST COMEDY in Bozeman MT. Staff was very friendly and drinks were good. The comedians the night we visited had us almost falling off our chairs from laughing!!
