After several issues all I can say is that they charged up to redesign the plans because their previous plans were in violation of code.

My wife and I were looking for someone to take our hand drawings and turn them into legitimate plans to submit to county, that is exactly what we got from Lasko, Erica did a great job, she responded to all of our calls and emails quickly, we're still building our house and anytime we have a question they are very helpful. The owner, Jerry Lasko, is a complete utter jerk. I was referred to him for structural engineered plans. I've never met with an Engineer before. I was told $500 for his services regarding an awning cover. I was under the impression I was receiving plans. Three weeks later I went to get the plans. When I asked for an explanation for what I was receiving, I was not given a clear understanding and plans were not a part of this arrangement, to which I was under the impression I was. Jerry became hostile immediately and took the stapled papers and told me I was free to leave and I explained I also paid a deposit. He in an angry huff, went to his office upstairs. He yelled at me thru his office for all to hear. I pleaded my case as I even said I am ignorant to all this and he says I sure as hell am. He came downstairs with a check I hand to which I said I didn't want, but I wanted his help. He told me I was an asshole and to get the hell out of his office. I left shaking and on the verge of tears. Having to go to my Client and explain this was embarrassing. I'm grateful that so far my Client is going to tick with me and wait this out. I would NEVER EVER treat the Public or a Client like this. This Man needs serious anger management. He proclaimed I got an attitude about the work they did.
