Check in for my free consultation was easy as well as quick. Very painless and pleasant. I decided to go ahead with the option to prefill my paperwork prior to appointment. I received multiple text reminders about the appointment so I could not forget about them . This was definitely ok with me but could have additional options... such as confirm, call me, cancel, reschedule, or reply with questions. Iris (yes, that was her name!!) was amazing and so personable, friendly. Not only did she improve my day, some of these things she said gave stuck with me weeks later. She is a very positive person. That is not often found, and I truly appreciated her helpful manner. The office had snacks, and coffee available. Dr. Cain was very nice, professional, and answered questions in detail. Oh, and I loved that I didn't feel obligated. No pressure. I actually ended up going with a different doctor for lasik but this experience was great as a second opinion.

I've always been blessed with absolutely terrible vision, and while I'm okay wearing contacts, I got really tired with having to put them in and take them out, sometimes irritating my eyes, buying solution and new pairs of contacts, sometimes losing them, them drying out after a shower, etc etc. On and on. And I look terrible in glasses. So I'm like, hey I'm young, should probably get these terrible eyes fixed while I've still got time before I'll need readers. Location: I'm not fond of it. I live on the opposite side of town and getting there was not super fun, especially in rush hour. But the office itself is super nice, they've got a pleasant waiting room, candy snacks and coffee available for patients, and everything you'd want to feel comfortable. They're in the best location for what they do so I'm not going to fault them. Staff: Fantastic. They seemed happy to be there and answer any questions, and they got everyone in and out pretty quick. They all had senses of humor which is important in a medical office. They also conducted all testing quickly and expertly. Procedure: Wow it sure didn't feel like 10 minutes. It's true when they say it's painless. There is indeed pressure (they place suction on your actual eye to immobilize it while they cut the corneal flap) and during both lasers you're unable to blink which can be uncomfortable, but each laser only does it's work for 60 seconds max. And you get stress squeezies (which I used liberally) but it wasn't so bad. I'd do it again, now that I know what to expect. And right after, I could see Dr. Greenberg's face, without contacts or glasses. Price: It isn't cheap, depending on your prescription (mine is...was terrible, so I had to get the same laser they build spacecraft with. Kidding. But it's priced like it.) but it seems like they've got a lot of payment options. I already had Care Credit so I can't speak to what else they offer. Post Op: They provide detailed post-op instructions and materials, all seems pretty straightforward. My procedure was two days ago and I'm not experiencing any complications that I know of. I can see better now than I could with contacts, and even though there's a tiny bit of dryness it gets better with time. Looking forward to a life without clumsy glasses or the super hygiene regiment of contact care and subscriptions. It's still hard to wrap my head around the fact that this is a permanent correction, and not some temporary fix. 20 out of 20. Would recommend getting your eyeballs lazed here!

If you are considering Lasik but you are too scared-- DO IT! LasikPlus is wonderful and makes the whole process so easy. I was terrified of it (admittedly- I am a huge baby and don't tolerate pain well). I was afraid to have to be awake and look at it. I hyped it up to be some big terrible thing in my head and it was not. First, you'll go in for a consultation. They'll check your prescription and condition of your eyes. They'll see if you are eligible and then talk about financing options. It is definitely not cheap- but there's lots of different options. And there's a great little calculator on their website that shows you how much you'll save in money spent on contacts and glasses for the rest of your life. Everyone at LasikPlus is so nice and I always felt like I was in good hands. On the day of your procedure, you'll head back and have your eyes re-checked again. If you're a contacts wearer, you should have kept your lenses out for about a week prior. You'll sign the paperwork and may even be given something to help you calm down-- I sure needed it! You can sit in the lobby area and watch others get it done. It's crazy how fast of a procedure it is. When it's your turn, you'll head into the room and lay down. They give you stress balls to squeeze. The first part of the procedure is the worst part. They clamp your eye to keep it open and use a suction cup type thing on it. It does not feel good. I honestly really didn't like it, but it was fast and tolerable. Soon after your vision goes dark and blurry which is a major relief. You somehow do not have to watch the procedure. I couldn't really tell what was going on or feel anything after the clamp. Next you head over to the actual laser and you just have to lay and stare at some blinking lights. You can't see much else. I was terrified of the cutting the flap part, but you can't see that or feel that. I wouldn't have even known that happened if I didn't watch a million videos about it. It's not scary at all but felt so difficult to keep my eyes open. It was all over in less than 10 minutes, maybe even 5. It's seriously so fast. 5 minutes of fear and nervousness in exchange for not having to deal with contacts and glasses hassles again? Worth every bit. The recovery right after is pretty rough. Once the numbing drops wear off, it's painful. My eyes burned and they were almost impossible to open. This is why you're instructed to go home and sleep for a few hours. It's impossible to do anything and it gets you through the rough part. I personally had a lot of drainage and every light felt too bright. After I woke up, I felt a million times better. No pain at all and my vision was clear! I think I'm still in denial that it really happened. Hallelujah- I can fall asleep on the couch without contacts getting glued to my eyes! It will take up to 6 weeks for my eyes to fully heal. I'm loaded up on drops and dry eye vitamins. I can't wear makeup for a week and have to sleep in some stylish goggles for a few days so I don't rub my eyes. My eyes feel dry and I'm seeing halos around bright lights. But it is all so worth it and those annoyances will go away after my eyes heal. If someone as scared as me can do it, anyone can do it. I highly recommend it! I had my post op check today and I went from seeing 20/400 to better than 20/20- I could read lines in 20/15. It is an incredible and life changing procedure.

I'll spare you the cheesy pun about seeing that LasikPlus was the right choice for my LASIK procedure, but I have absolutely no regrets about my decision to get LASIK done and where to have it!! I wore glasses for 20 years and had always thought about/wanted to get LASIK, but I actually decided to have it done kind of on a whim. LasikPlus was able to get me in for a consult the day I decided to finally pull the trigger and my procedure was scheduled for less than 2 weeks later. The building itself is in the parking lot just north of Benihana at the Keystone Fashion Mall, and inside it is so clean and bright. The staff were all SO friendly and helpful. Jill took me through my consult, explained everything very clearly and eased all my concerns about the procedure. She and many of the other staff here all had LASIK done by the same doctor who did mine. Dr. Greenburg is a travelling doctor and has performed the most LASIK and PRK procedures in Indiana and Kentucky, over 68,000! There is also candy sitting out all over the office and that's always a plus. The day of my procedure everything worked like a well oiled machine. My mom was meeting me there (you have to have a driver to take you home) and I actually ended up waiting on her it was so quick! They do one last eye exam, numb your eyes and then take you into the operating room. The whole thing took less than 40 minutes and the LASIK itself took about 10 for both eyes. The actual laser-ing (is that a word?) isn't painful, but I won't lie, it's not the most fun thing I never done. It's more weird/awkward than anything, but again it all took less than 10 minutes and it was over before I knew it. You come back the next day for a check-up and at my check-up appointment my vision was already 20/15, things were just a little blurry. They say that my vision will just continue to get more clear! There are a lot of eye drops to use after the procedure but that's a small price to pay. When I woke up the day after my procedure and could see my alarm clock without squinting it was truly a miracle. All of the staff here (Dr. Greenburg, Dr. Cameron, Dr. Blender, Jill, Melinda, etc etc etc) are amazing. They made me feel so welcome and comfortable asking any questions I had, even the really stupid ones (i.e am I going to go blind). I am so so happy I trusted my LASIK to LasikPlus and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

The waiting room is nice and comfortable.

I have been considering LASIK for a long time, years even, and I finally decided to go for it. I had my consultation at the beginning of April and LASIK a little over a week later on a Saturday and was back to normal with 20/20 vision on Sunday. Everyone I came into contact with was so friendly and helpful. I couldn't imagine a more positive environment, I only wish all doctor offices were this way. Dr. Marino was so encouraging and enthusiastic during the process, which was great because I was a little nervous. I love being able to wake up and see and not having to clean my glasses every 5 mins. The biggest plus would be the cost of everything. I always thought LASIK would be too costly but it is very much affordable and they really work with you for financing. I highly recommend LASIKPlus.

Very helpful and attentive. The doctor even personally called me the evening after the procedure to check on me.

I was offered financing for my LASIK surgery through Greenberg LASIK using Alphaeon Credit. I…read moresigned all documents in the office and was told I had two years to pay the balance interest-free, and that interest would begin only after those two years if a balance remained. What I was not told was that if the balance was not paid in full within two years, I would be charged all of the back interest from the previous two years. For example, my two-year promotional period ended in December 2026. At that time, I had a remaining balance of about $600 and believed I was nearly finished paying it off. I assumed I would only be responsible for one month of interest going forward. However, when I attempted to make a payment one month after the two-year deadline, my balance had jumped to approximately $2,700 due to retroactive interest charges. I contacted the credit card company and asked if they could offer any grace or allow me to pay the December balance if they would waive the retroactive interest. I was told there was nothing they could do. This financing was extremely misleading. After working responsibly for two years to pay this off, I am now facing a balance I cannot afford because critical details were not clearly explained. This feels like very poor and deceptive business practice.

Greenberg was recommended by my optometrist (along with PriceVision) for quality, trustable Lasik…read morein Indy. I also got a consultation with LasikPlus, but ultimately went with Greenberg because: (1) Their customer service and staff are top notch. It's cool that almost everyone in the office has personally gotten Lasik done, so they're very familiar with the process. They're fast, kind, and super willing to answer questions. They even endorsed PriceVision as a good second option place! So I felt they're honest and trustworthy. (2) It is clear that making patients comfortable is a priority for them. They provide Valium before the procedure (LasikPlus does not), give you stress balls during the procedure (small thing but thoughtful), and give you very useful sleeping goggles in addition to sunglasses (LasikPlus was only giving sunglasses to sleep in too). It's scary to have your vision worked on, so the thoughtfulness in patient care was reassuring. (3) They were the significantly cheaper than other places in town. They're also willing to price match. It's an expensive procedure if your vision is pretty bad -- so this is definitely a major point. Technology and skill wise, I think any major Lasik place in Indy will probably do a great job. I almost went with LasikPlus because of their national lifetime guarantee (which is a huge plus if you don't plan on living in Indianapolis forever). But Greenberg still gives a lifetime guarantee. Only negative I will say is when you sign up for a consultation, the last room is signing up for an appt and paying up front. If you're truly just going to see if you qualify and what it'll cost, this may feel a little pushy. Just remember, you don't *have* to schedule that day & definitely don't need to pay that day.

A couple months after my SMILE procedure, I feel it's safe to say it's worth it!…read more Getting consultation for vision correction surgery was on my to do list for the past year or two. Good reviews and being one of the few places nearby to offer SMILE brought me to Elite. Eye charts and measurements were done during consultation in June, and questions like "Is Lasik or SMILE more advantageous for me" were covered. Procedure day came about a month later following another eye exam. A rundown of the procedure, anti anxiety medicine taken, and a few moments in a quiet room were done beforehand. After that, lay down on a medical bed, numbing eye drops, lower eyelids held, and then the machine overhead goes to work. During this time a lens goes over one eye at a time, you focus on a light for a few seconds, the machine raises and a couple wipes are done to the eye. When this was done, no pain was felt on one eye, and I only a very slight sting on the other eye while getting lasered. My vision was foggy for a while after leaving the medical bed. A few hours later following a long nap, everything looked good and clear. My night vision is still somewhat fuzzy and see some blurring around certain lights. It seems to be getting better slowly but surely though. All things considered, getting a SMILE done was a good choice, and Elite is the right place for the task. The staff are all kind, caring and enthusiastic every step of the way. The office is a relaxed environment with calm music playing and nature scenes showing on screens throughout the place. Many thanks to the staff of Elite!

I absolutely loved my LASIK experience at Elite LASIK…read more I narrowed down my search in the Indianapolis area to the top reviewed doctors around the city. After initial online consultations, it was clear that Elite was for me. Shout out to Tamika for walking me through the process, cost, and answering all of my questions at that point. She sealed the deal. Next up was an in-person visit. The worst part about this was dealing with the bright sun after my eyes were dilated - not a big deal. That day I spent time with Gabrielle, a sweet and calming presence - exactly who you want by your side. Then I met Dr Fisher, who walked me through which options were a fit for me and reviewed each of them in depth so I could make an informed decision. There was no pressure to decide anything and I went home to do more research. I ended up scheduling an appointment for LASIK. As far as timing, it was only a matter of weeks from the time I first reached out until I had my surgery. On that day, I was there for less than 2 hours and most of that was dealing with paperwork, trying to relax, and getting prepped with eye drops. My designated driver and I were in a private room with drinks, snacks, and the best dog ever if we wanted her to visit our room (of course we did). The surgeon, Dr Huang, also introduced herself before the procedure to again answer any questions I had. She has the best bedside manner - calm, confident, kind, and reassuring. She helped me feel confident in my decision. The procedure itself was very quick and, given that I had been prepped to know exactly what to expect, not scary at all. Nor was it painful. I wouldn't even call it uncomfortable, really. The numbing eye drops do wonders. I was soon sent on my way home with eye drops, a mask for sleeping, and directions to take a nap. My vision was already better, though blurry. As I woke a few hours later, I could see. That was it. I followed directions for the eye drops, drove myself to a follow-up the next morning, and was testing at 20/15 within the week. AMAZING! I have no regrets, no bad side effects (like dry eyes), and consider this life-changing. Glad I went with Elite - everyone there made it worthwhile.
