I had my first service with Kate a few months ago and I can not say enough wonderful things about her. I had powder brows done and I waited to see the results before I posted anything and the end results is ... they are AMAZING! She is very knowledgeable and thorough when explaining the powder brow process. She walks you through step by step in order for you to have an excellent experience. She texts messages you leading up to the appointment in order to be prepared and also follows up after the procedure to make sure the after care is adhered too. During the session, She plays soft music, has heating pad on the table in order to relax. She then starts to set the shape and ensure that both of you agree to it, and then she moves on to the color. The first session is approximately 2-3 hours as she is drawing on your face and agreeing to the shape and then starts the "tattooing" part. Kate uses numbing cream and continually checks up on you regarding pain. For me, I did not think it hurt. I was very relaxed. After, she reviews the aftercare and sets the 2nd session up for the touch up appointment. The second session you go through the above again. The entire time, Kate checks in on you and ask for pics to make sure everything is fine during the scabbing process. The end result, the color and shape are perfect! I could not be more pleased. I had overplucked eyebrows and now I don't have to pencil them in anymore. I highly recommend Kate for powder brows, she has earned my business!! read more

I went to Kate for almost a year and out of nowhere her service got absolutely horrible!! It's almost impossible to get ahold of her, she never responds back to calls or messages. She just recently kicked up her prices drastically because she is in a studio that is way to expensive for her and so she over charges clients to make her rent every month. And takes SUCH a long time to apply lashes. Way longer than the normal application time. Also her studio has a VERY bad moisture problem so because of that, lashes only last about a week at most. Her service used to be way better I wouldn't recommend anyone to her now I was a very loyal customer I used to come to your house and you had your husband and your kids screaming and yelling, It was so unprofessional. And also you didn't just not respond to me. You blocked me. Blocked my calls blocked my texts. Blocked me on Instagram. On Facebook. WITHOUT ANY NOTICE AT ALL. And you even blocked my mother who never did anything to you never breached any contract at all. Btw... You never one time mentioned to me that I wasn't cleaning or taking care of my lashes the right way. Every time I came in you would always say oh wow your lashes are so healthy you can handle 18mm length but now that I have all the lashes off I have 0 real lashes. They have all been destroyed. It looked good with all the products applied that you asked to leave on for 24 hours. However my face turned severely dry and rough after rinsing it off. There's a drastic change, so something went wrong somewhere, right? Acknowledge, and begin thinking what could have been done better, instead of focusing and blaming the client alone. You could have asked yourself, was there something wrong with the procedure or the products used that the client reacted to? Learn to emphatize. Think about what could have been done to provide a service recovery rather than advising to find a cheaper aesthetician. Perhaps offer to see the client back so you could assess the problem yourself, afterall you identified yourself as the "pro" on this. Acknowledging, empathizing and having the humility to accept and act on complaints and things that are beyond your control are some of the good business etiquettes that could have prevented an overall negative review. read more

I LOVE my eyelashes. This is my second time getting them with her. I've done my lashes in 5 other places and I can honestly say she is the best when it comes to value, and quality of work and application. She does not leave your eyes burning but glues them in a way that they last. She is also very gentle when applying them and my eyes have not gotten irritated after both visits, which is amazing since that usually happens a few days after the application. I just moved a lot closer to her location and I plan on being a regular. She is based on her home and some times you can hear the kids around the living room, but being a working mom myself I don't mind that at all, and since I'm her house it's totally acceptable to me, if that means walking out of her home with great eyelashes. So the facial itself was awesome and the products aren't your everyday ones we all like to believe are great from the TJ Maxx or Marshals beauty section. The products are for specific needs such as anti aging, plumping, hydration etc. When I was done my face felt like a rose petal. OMG! I was glowing. I was a loyal customer to Kate for over a year. I never had any problems with her I always generously tipped her, and I loved going to her. But than she had a incident with another customer, that i knew of. And it had nothing to do with me and because of that she blocked my number and blocked me off everything. I have never felt so disrespected. This was so unprofessional on so many levels and everyone I told this to could not believe a "business" would do this. She refused me service for a argument that she had WITH ANOTHER CUSTOMER and just because I knew of the girl she blocked me WITH NO NOTICE. Terrible customer service. And very immature. I don't care what anyone says below I've been going to Kate for over a year I know how she is and what she did was wrong. Terrible buisness, you can never reach her, she charged insane prices for how long she takes and for the little amount of lashes she puts on. If you want the amount of lashes you see in her picture expect to be there for AT LEAST 3 hours. Than lashes fall out immediately. She lost so much buisness because of this, I am not the only person she has done this too there are 3 other people she did this too as well. She sometimes will do the lashes too tight to where it hurt and gave me bumps as well. I do not recommend going here. There are way better places. Not worth paying her for a year and then being dropped like I didn't exist. Very rude. Don't say you would never block a client because they are friends with a client, because that's exactly what you did. I did not once "breach" your contract. I have never done anything wrong. Everything you just said was irrelevant. You even blocked that clients mother, with her being a loyal customer, as she never breached the contract either. You gave me no notice of you blocking me. I've gone to see Kate several times and I've always left very pleased with how my lashes turned out. They are gorgeous, full and wispy! We've been experimenting on the different lash options she has and I can't really decide which one I should stick with because I LOVE each look, you can't go wrong with Kate's work.
