I let my cousin talk me into going for a spa mani & pedi and it turned out to be a good decision. It's a bit more pricier at $35 but still reasonable. I added hot wax for $5 more and not certain it made my feet any difference but I enjoyed it. The spa pedicure is the norm plus foot & leg mask, hot towel, rub down...etc. she spent a good 30+ minutes on my feet and I was in heaven; might just be cause its been a while. The chair worked my back something good. The mani was good, no complaints. Service is very friendly, they engaged me. I could have done without so much conversation they were having with each other though. That's the norm though a bit more quiet working would have made my experience more relaxing at times. Was hesitant looking for a new salon since I relocated (you know how that goes!) I read a few positive reviews about Best Nails & thought I'd give them a try since they were in my area. I first called as soon as I got off of work on a Friday around 545 (they closed at 7). I believe Anne answered the phone and I asked if anyone was available for a manicure and pedicure, she said sure! and told me to come right on in. I was worried they'd be super busy, I mean a nail salon on a Friday evening?! Ha! I was lucky. I arrive a few minutes later and the shop is located in a nice plaza with other shops and restaurants. Walked in and was immediately greeted by Anne. They asked me to pick my colors and directed me to a pedicure chair, which I was ELATED to see they use the plastic covers on their pedicure whirlpools. Not sure if that's a state board requirement now, BUT it's a must for me. They offered me something to drink, water, soda, or wine. Mr Justin immediately started on my manicure while I was receiving my pedicure. The pedicure was great! In addition to the basics, they do a leg mask, scrub, hot stones, AND massage! I paid $5 extra for the hot paraffin wax. Mr Justin conversed with me most of the time which was nice : ) then Ms. Anne came to polish. She did a great job and she's very nice also. I was recently TRAUMATIZED while traveling to Atlanta and received a terrible manicure and pedicure so I was pleased to come back home to Texas and NOT be disappointed. After polishing, Mr Justin came back over and gave a great massage to my hands & arms with lotion! Afterwards, I paid and was pleasantly surprised they didn't charge me through the roof for their services. Yup not the best.. don't let the name fool you. Should have know cause the place was deserted, but I figured it was cause it's Wednesday. Came in with my friend, and they sit us side by side. I started to get shellac Pedi but by the end I changed my mind and wanted the color my friend had. Plain pink Opi. OMG they got so rude and started talking about the fact that I changed my mind. I understood exactly what they were saying even though it was in Vietnamese, yeah not cool. They got so pissed they wouldn't let my friend sit next to me and they rushed her out of the chair and laughed the entire time even though they were not busy. The owners, a husband and wife team and their staff gave outstanding customer service and never made us feel rushed. Pros: -technicians were friendly -location was convenient -provide services I needed Cons: -The salon looked run down and a little dirty -pedicure technician cut my toe, and didn't understand when I told her to stop digging under my toe. When I paint my nails at home they last almost a week! They do not charge what their website shows: 25 + 10 mani with pedi. We were charged the full 25+ 15 and they also made a big fuzz about accepting the coupon that is still showing on Google. Products: they had a good selection of OPI nail polish and some Essie, but it was as much as I've seen at other places. Quality: the technician who did my pedicure was very good, but the one working on my manicure was lackluster. I had to tell her more five times to fix the mistakes. She was not very proactive. The owner is super sweet and takes her time on your nails which I think is very important. She communicates well and makes sure you are happy with the service provided. I got shellac polish done with no manicure which was $17. I know places that charge less but I didn't want to wait so I came here. How on earth did this place get 5 stars on Yelp? My husband and I came in for a pedicure and they had two technicians. One client was already getting a pedicure so they started on my husband and began to soak my feet. 15 minutes later no one had started my pedicure yet and the water was cold. After complaining that I wouldn't have gone somewhere else, the left the girl already there with the husband and wife who own the salon to finish her nails. I can only imagine what her nails ended up looking like. The place smells of chemicals and the atmosphere is nothing special. I won't be returning that's for sure! read more

I use to go here for years before the previous owners sold the shop. I tried to stay and continue giving them my business but the new owners had some employees that were very rude so I stopped going and found another shop that was OK but not what I was use to. The person that was doing my nails at the other shop was late for my appointment and did not even take the time to call me which did not sit well with me so after sitting in the parking lot for 15 minutes trying to decide what I was going to do because all of my nails had come off which was one of the problems I was having with this new shop as well as the nail tech being very rough and cutting corners and actually cutting me until I bleed while clipping my nail I decided to go down the street to Best Nails and give them another try. I am so glad I did I was pleasantly surprised that the owner Ann who did my nails was extremely nice and kind to me. She went out of her way to make sure she did my nails the way I wanted them done. When I explained to her why I stopped coming she apologized to no end and knew the employees I was talking about and said that they are not longer there. She assured me that she does not tolerate that from her employees and that she was glad I decided to come back. Ann and the new staff have great customer service and make you feel like they appreciate your business.
