As a newbie of eyelashes extension service. I was amazed by the result when I woke up (lash-nap) like this! It was Thursday afternoon in April 20th. When I entered to the eyelash boutique that located in the center of the city in Manhattan which merely two blocks away from 34-penn-station. The front desk was attentive and knowledgeable when it comes to lashes. They asked some basic information such as if habits of makeup, shapes of eyes to determine and suggest what kind of eyelashes style is suitable for individual customers. So I quickly decided start from natural eye-lash style first. The room is nice and cozy with a big window that decorated with sheer curtain. When I lay down, my lash-technician Vicky asked me if I am get allergy easily and what should I be aware during the lash extension process. The product that they use is gentle on eyes so I didn't feel irritated at all. The process is roughly taking 2 hours so it's perfect to have a nap that sleep on the bed and leaves the cellphone away. Its literally the experience of beauty sleep and makes me think of the song by Beyoncé "I woke up like this". The whole time, she was gentle on me from playing classic music and whispering to explaining what is going to happen in next two hours because my eyes were taped so I have to rely on her skill and her sense of aesthetic that achieve the result to makes each customer feels beautiful in their own way. I am so glad she smells great from hand to breath makes me appreciated more when it comes to personal services like this. After an hour or so, I was surfing outside of space because the process was so gentle and I feel my soul already surfing in the galaxy. I woke up in a sudden because I hear my own snoring. I feel embarrassed but Vicky says she is happily to see customers to fall asleep because that it's a sign of customers feels trust and comfortable. When I woke up from the nap, I was astonished by the result when I looked at in the mirror. I have never seen my eye-lashes so beautiful in a natural way. It is the result can't be achieved by mascara (It will smear after few hours) nor conventional glued on lashes (It looks fake because of the string attached on the root of lashes if without eye-liner to be covered on eye-makeup) that we use commonly from pharmacies. This was great news so I made an appointment and looked no further On the Day of the appointment I was sent a text reminder, I love to to get these - all places that you make appointments or reservations should adopt this practice. I arrive on time and Vicki is ready for me, absolutely no wait and she honestly has to be the sweetest lash technician ever. We go over the look I am trying to achieve, she makes a few recommendations. I decide on C Curl, cat eye 11,12 and 13 length, Classic Set 100 lashes per eye. After the most peaceful 1.5 hour lash nap, I am awakened to see that my beautiful natural looking lashes are exactly what I had wanted, can you imagine that?? EXACTLY! Needless to say the place is new, its clean, its friendly and as a lash technicians go VICKI is super gentle, meticulous, amazing, sweet and is now my go to lash girl!! Here I am over two weeks later writing this review and I am STILL sooo pleased with the results! Vicki makes it a priority to do everything the right way from the very beginning so that the lashes last. She is so patient and careful while applying each lash. I felt like she took her time making each lash perfect. She made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked in to the very end. My biggest fear was that my lashes would feel heavy and uncomfortable but that was not the case at all. They feel completely natural and look so real. She knows how to pick the best lash length and curl for your eye shape and face. I've gotten so many compliments on my new lashes! Excellent customer service. For my first time I got the classic which is 100 eyelashes per eye and a c-curl lash. I did not need to purchase the Groupon and was given the discounted price when I paid. This was very convenient and saved me money. I was running 10-15 minutes late for my appointment and even though they have a pretty tight scheduling policy I was still taken regardless. Therefore, I tipped her $10 for her patience and good work. My technician was gentle and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I was told how to maintain them for the first 48 hours and was even given a special comb to brush my lashes out. I am going back today to get a little touch up because of how I sleep on the left side of my face. I will update in a couple of days to see how things have gone. read more

This place is amazing. I got my eyelashes done here for the first time and got 50% OFF. I picked the length, curl, amount of lashes and the process was awesome. I pretty much fell asleep, they play relaxing music for you and its so soothing. In 1.5 hours my lashes were done. It felt amazing waking up every morning and not having to do anything to my eyes besides brush my lashes. Its been 3 weeks now and there are still a good amount of them remaining. The first 2 weeks i took very good care of them, I never got them wet, i brushed and cleaned them daily, etc. But this last week i've pretty much been showering as normal and rubbing my eyes occasionally and they're still there. The first time I came to get lashes the entire time my eyes were burn. I kept telling the girl but she did nothing about it. I have been getting lashes for years now and the burning intensity I have never had before till I came here. What made it worst was the that she took the longest as well 2.5 hours. By the time she was finished my eyes were completely blood shot which lasted several days. She clearly did not know what she was doing. The only reason why I gave it 2star and not a 1 star is because they attempted to compensate me by giving me a free refill, which I didn't want but they promised to use a different glue. The second time around it did not burn as much. Even after the sensitive glue burned slightly. I think they might be buying cheap glue cause this has never ever happened to me. read more

I saw Fancy today for my first visit. I've been to two other lash studios and this one is, by far, my favorite! What's different? The focus was not only about getting great lashes, but Fancy explained that my natural lashes were mostly baby lashes and they need time to grow before adding extensions. She explained some places will use the babies, but this will cause them to fall out faster. Good to know! The glue used here was not nearly as harsh as the other places. I was able to walk out the door with great lashes and non irritated eyes! She also cleaned my lashes in the most thorough way I've ever experienced. Super pleasant experience!! Amazing!! My favorite lash place in NYC. I called for a last minute appointment on a Saturday and Viki fit me in right away! I was so unhappy with the lashes I had previously from another salon but Viki had me looking fabulous by the end of my appointment! Very convenient location, right around the block from Penn Station, and the salon is very clean! Fancy did my lash removal and then applied the new ones! This is the first lash appointment I've ever fallen asleep during, she was so gentle! They also have a lash spa and remove your make up for you if you have any on, this is the first time I've ever seen this offered at a salon. Loved it!! They have a new client special for $50 for a classic set, which Viki offered me and their refill prices are super reasonable! (Same price for cash or card!) Viki did a consultation before they started and she knew what shape, curl shape, and thickness of the lashes would look best on me! Of the last 5 months that I've been wearing lashes, these looked the most natural yet bold! I've literally get at least two compliments every week and people ask if they're my natural lashes! I don't write reviews normally but I felt I had to for this one. The two ladies that were in the salon were super sweet and understanding that I was slightly late due to me being lost. When I got inside they looked up my appointment and then showed me the different styles and suggested the one that suited me best. Fancy was the technician that did my lashes and she explained everything she did and why. she was gentle and I was in the middle of taking a lash nap when I felt a blanket being placed over my body! She said she thought I looked cold! I thought that was so sweet. When the process was done she made sure everything was to my liking and it was! First time customers get 1/2 off the service but I would pay the full price a million and one times given the amazing service I had received. Viki and Joy shared the responsibility of doing a full classic set - they both were so thorough, kind, and gentle throughout the whole process. Viki was kind enough to show me pictures of various styles to ensure I chose the one best for me and Joy ended the session with giving me a lash brush to take home and jotting down all the details of style I chose to make it super easy for next time. I've been to at least 6-7 places for my lashes, and this place was by far the best! My eyes felt comfortable the whole time due to the padding that they use and I never felt a sting (I'm usually very uncomfortable and feel the urge to open my eyes and blink at other places). I got my first ever eyelash extensions here. The experience was great. I brought a Groupon online for 56$ including 2 week refill, however they did ask for $5 for tax fee, which means I paid $61 In total. I didn't mind because I understand how Groupon takes half of the money. I recommend you guys to pay on the spot instead because they charge only $51 if you pay on the spot, so that will save you $10 extra dollars. The process was calming. However, My appointment was from 7-8pm and they probably rushing to close, so they didn't explain to me the different sizes and curls. I did feel my appointment was rushed tho because there were some gaps between my lashes and some lashes were too cluttered. Overall, the lashes stayed on amazingly and look stunningly. The booking is really full, so do book an appointment couple days beforehand. The place is sort of hard to find because it is inside a building. It's not a store front. Totally obsessed with this place. My problem was my lashes came out too natural. (THEY WERE TOTALLY BEAUTIFUL) Dont get me wrong they are absolutely perfect, but I model and would like a bolder look so i dont need mascara for photoshoots (my mom told me she didnt notice enough of a difference). But Im sure after we add different lengths and sizes itll be awesome. This place was amazing, so relaxing, gentle. These people were so sweet, I love them already. I really hope we could achieve a more dramatic look, but i really loved my first experience already! I will totally update this review with a photo after the new lashes. ALSO, its been like two days and ive been seeing (probably 8 at this point) eyelashes falling out already and i know they arent my natural ones because i used to put oil on them before bed and they stopped falling out as quickly, and they are also thinner. However, This place is amazing ,and so relaxing and i cant wait to go back and get more lashes.
