Extremely disappointing experience at LaserAway - Reston Town Center. I rarely leave reviews, but this needs to be shared. I scheduled an appointment for two services well in advance -- only for the team at LaserAway to reschedule me THREE times, the last one being on the day of the appointment. Despite the constant back-and-forth, I still showed up expecting professional service. What I got was anything but. Upon arrival, I was told -- with no prior notice -- that they didn't have time to complete both services. That's right: after moving my schedule around multiple times for their changes, they then told me in person that they wouldn't actually be able to fulfill the appointment I booked. I was understandably frustrated and left without receiving any services. But it gets worse -- I later found out that I was charged anyway for services I never received. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a blatant disregard for customers' time, money, and trust. I've reached out to customer support for a full refund, but the fact that I even have to go through this step is frustrating enough. LaserAway: Your Reston location needs serious attention. This level of disorganization and lack of accountability is not what people pay premium prices for. read more

Since I bought a package and I still have 3 treatments left, I thought I would come here and update my review to still reflect a negative experience. Do not and I repeat, DO NOT come here for laser tattoo removal. I'll be having my 8th treatment on 3/21. The results are terrible. I was quoted for 10 treatments. My tattoo just looks like an old faded tattoo. Black is the easiest color to remove. A simple google search will also tell you this, as well as my experience performing laser tattoo removal At my last appt with Pooja, a PA, she informed me that they don't even have the correct laser to remove the yellow from my tattoo, which explains a lot. This place just scammed me out of $1000 and a year of my life. I am currently on their online help chat waiting for Alan to reply after 15 min of asking for a manager to contact me. I'm looking to get my money back, as getting my time back isn't an option. Do not go here for tattoo removal. read more

Updated my review to reflect the overbooking/understaffing problem has only gotten worse. At this point they are just selling packages and taking money for services they can't actually provide because appointments are rarely available beyond 3-4 weeks out, then when you do have an appointment factor on the single tech you running at least a half hour behind as she runs from room to room rushing through multiple clients at once Go anywhere else, but this place is trying to squeeze profits by not having enough staff and it's clearly not working. I would like a refund and to warn others off from committing to packages that they will never get to use. read more

This place SUCKS! They completely botched my appointment, scheduling me for services that were not what I wanted OR offered at this location. They were RUDE, impersonal and completely unapologetic. All they care about is hooking you for over-priced packages. Do not do business with these people. read more

I spent over $2,300 on laser hair removal with LaserAway with absolutely no reduction in hair after 8 sessions. All hair came back within just 2 months. The only thing offered from customer service on all fronts was to buy additional touch ups for hundreds more dollars. I don't know about you, but if 8 sessions didn't do anything who wants to pay more?? LaserAway is the worst money I have ever spent. I never leave reviews, but I want to help AnYoNe I possibly can not get ripped off. Please go elsewhere for your services. read more

This place was recommended by a friend. I've noticed that they are very specific about who they service first and they like to change your appointment without even asking you if it wasn't for emails. I would've never known that my appointment was changed several times, so I decided to go to the Ashburn location that wasn't any better they called and needed to reschedule my appointment because supposedly they were overbooked, but I don't believe it. They show favoritism to certain people. read more

I dont ever leave negative reviews but I cannot believe the way I was treated by this location. I am beside myself. I have gone to this location 3x previously. Each time showing up at my scheduled appointment time, which is texted to my phone. Today, I drove 45 mins to get to my 1030am appointment. As I'm parking at 1033 I get a call and this UNBELIEVABLEY RUDE individual starts berating me. She tells me that she's going to have to cancel my appointment. In the most demeaning manner possible she said that I've been there before and I should know when I have to show up. I tell her, my text said 1030am and she tells me I should have been there 15 minutes ago??? My confirmation said 1030am. I get a call at 1033am saying they're going to cancel my appointment so I wasted 1.5 hours of my work day. To add insult to injury, when I said, "Well in the past I've always shown up at the time I was scheduled to show up" this individual proceeds to say "Well now its 1037 so you're no longer 3 minutes late" because she spent the last 4 minutes berating me, and telling me I'm cancelled. Well Reston Laser Away is now Cancelled. RUN DONT WALK AWAY. You will only be disrespected for showing up at your scheduled appointment time. I'm not sure who hired this person but hey should know that their customer service standards have now taken a sky dive. read more

Reston location had been great for hair removal and cool sculpting. Nurses are super sweet and attentive

Completely damaged my skin and came here with beautiful skin. This place has made me feel completely ugly. Spent thousands on 10 sessions and my hair is the same exact no difference; feels I almost have more hair than before. I've done laser hair removal before at a different place and the skin damages laser away gave me never have happened with laser hair removal before. Even purchased some ridiculous membership thing so I could get immediate expedited support but they ignored my inquiries and never responded to my issues when mentioned. Same when expressing my issues in person, nothing changed. They have issues with scheduling at every location and call you sometimes right before an appointment or 24 hours prior to reschedule (did this to me for 6/10 of my appointment). This business at every location has huge turnover rates so if you get comfortable with a nurse and like her methods, she may be gone before your next appointment. The nurses also seem miserable. also did fillers which were done completely uneven. For the most part, the people who work here are nice if it sounds like you are gonna purchase more but that's just the sales experience. I wish I did further research on Laseraway before wasting my money on scam business. Save your skin and your money and AVOID. read more
