Now on to the nitty gritty...I chose Dr. Lipson-Beck because I was beyond picky with other dentists in the area, not because I like to be picky, but because if your going to choose someone, then why not be picky (it's your mouth)...I want the best to take care of me. My initial visit to this office yielded a positive vibe. You do not feel rushed and a genuine sense of care is felt. My follow-up visit (for a wisdom tooth extraction) went off without a hitch. My wife went with me (she had a cleaning scheduled) and so did my 6 month old son. My son, as you would have it, flipped out for no apparent reason, to the rescue came Lisa (the hygienist) and Dr. Lipson-Beck (who did a little dance to entertain my son). My son subsequently felt great and became happy. Dr. Lipson-Beck and her staff are truly great. I asked why the machine said they would return calls and she very rudely stated that the whole office was out on spring break And they don't do that. The office atmosphere is relaxed, yet professional. Wait times are short; I don't think I ever waited even 10 minutes to be called in. Dr. Lukenda is very knowledgeable and welcomes questions from his patients, addresses any and all concerns. He has a great bedside manner and delivers thorough and high quality care. I recently had a dental emergency while on vacation which necessitated a call to his emergency line. He called me right back and reassured me and soothed my worries.
