Receptionist is very rude when I called and asked a question. She sighed and transferred me to a voicemail!

Melissa runs a fantastic facility, the whole team is welcoming and kind, definitely my kind of people! At the end of the day, the part that stands out the most is how happy all the residents are; they don't just live in a building, they have truly built a community.

Where to begin. I guess with management change. As soon as…read moreMarkie took over as GM things changed for the worst. her and the new nurse Kasha could use a lesson in empathy, how to care for people. Markie was not approachable, tried to introduce her as a 3 year residents daughter one time, she couldn't be bothered and was quite rude. this past year we experienced my mom falling and waiting for 20 minutes for a caregiver to help her, housekeepers serving food due to the shortage of servers, staff members complaining about management to residents, I could go on and on My sister reached out after a 500.00 rent increase per month with no explanation other than cost of living (??!!!) to Kris Waluszko asking questions and expressing concerns. Weeks after original email we got no resolve, no reason for rent increase but now she was in a "premium room" Again no explanation Markie is recruiting new residents with multiple issues so higher rent can be charged, targeting wealthy communities in Summerlin. Hospice residents, causing caregivers to be overworked. My mom's caregiver of almost 4 years yelled at her one day because she was in a hurry. Totally unacceptable. We've moved our mother to a more nurturing, caring facility . Our next step is to contact the state ombudsman. Please shop wisely when placing your loved ones in assisted living. Atria Seville is cold and uncaring. Just ask their staff

However, they were and still are short staffed with wait times after pressing call button of sometimes one hour. The quality of the food leaves much to be desired. So I wound up buying my own groceries and often times making my own lunch and dinner. The weight staff in the dining room does the best they can, however, in my opinion, with the exception of the head cook, the cooks don't know what they are doing. Often times you will wait one hour after ordering your food to get it, and then more often it is ice cold. Add it to that, it often tastes disgusting. There are residents here, but that belong in memory care or in a nursing home. There are residents here that are a danger to the other residents and even though we report them to the powers that be, nothing is done. I am happy to be saying I'm moving out of this place because I can and also because the price is way too high for the services that I use. Carefully research the place you are looking for to live in for yourself or a loved one. Walk in at different times of the day. Try to experience the food and the dining experience for yourself more than just once. Talk to the residents and ask a lot of questions. I would not recommend living here. And I hope and never come back to an facility, but if I do, it will not be this one.

They treat the patients like they are their family members.. I see it first hand with my own eyes all the time. I'm there a good 5 times a week and when I'm not, my aunts are. We all see how our families are treated here I can start with the smart, beautiful and caring Deanne who made everything quite easy for us with paperwork and made moving easy and still is always there making sure things run smoothly. Priscilla always around helping too. Next I must recognize the extremely kind and caring staff that are taking care of these very dependent people. The med techs are ALL SOOOOO smart and dependable and most of all very caring humans. No joke. They are on top of everything, Christine makes sure of it. The fine people that take care of my mom and the rest of the residents are so so hard working , kind, gentle and patient. There are too many to name and I do not want to leave anybody out. All the front people are sooo nice and welcoming too and the darling, sincere gem named Venessa is the heart and soul of this amazingly ran home for the cognitively impaired. Dementia is so hard, it's a true curse but Pacifica Spring Valley makes life dealable. Love this place!!!!!

Help us to keep it going. As you wander remember to smell the roses . Year after year I feel so happy to call this home. We wave to one another and make sure that we are happy. Having a strong connection to community helps us all to grow and thrive. For me personally I exist in a world of peace and love, after being so alone for so long my heart that was broken is now filled with abundance and hope that I can continue to grow and be happy once again on the inside. The joys of life are endless and now I can have some for myself. Thank you to this community that has made me happy and feel for all these years . Your support means so much to me. I was recently fired and I know I may sound like just another disgruntled employee but this is not the case. The management team are definitely not in the business for the residents. They are very unprofessional in the way organizing. I have never seen so many falls as far as the residents go. They can not keep employees. It is literally a swinging door. I loved working with my fellow employees except for a few, which I know that happens everywhere. This place is in need of new managers if nothing else. They are very nice to you for a little while, and then the true colors really start showing. I was never late, and the reason I got fired was because I got put in the hospital for pneumonia and gallstones. and then was summonsed to court in Utah to help my daughter fight for custody for my grandson. They showed nothing but sympathy until a week later after I got back from Utah and they had hired four more people while I was gone. I understand I was still in my 90 day grace period, but the way they went about letting me go was nothing short of under handiness . I would not recommend working for this company unless you enjoy working around fake people.
