This is one of the most beautiful properties I have visited in Cabo.We dined at Alerije and the service and food was amazing. Very expensive for sure. Beautiful restaurant inside and out with wonderful musicians playing the guitars. Definitely would try again.

We ubered here from The Waldorf and the security is tight as in you need a reservation to even enter the resort. It is gorgeous here and is reminiscent of the 80's with jazz music playing close to the beach. The staff is very welcoming and hospitable like a 5 star resort should be. I will be staying here next time we come to Cabo!

Beautiful resort with impeccable service from start to finish! Rooms were spacious and well appointed.. loved the jacuzzi tub and outdoor patio area. We had a delicious lunch at Sea Grille and awesome dinner at Arbol and breakfast at Alebrije. We enjoyed their cavernous lazy River and La Botica speakeasy. Staff was very friendly and helpful and enjoyed the many gifts bestowed upon us!

The service is fabulous, the staff attentive, the rooms are gorgeous and the food is amazing! We celebrated our 40th anniversary and I don't know how it could have been any better.

We basically had this pool to ourselves until the day before we left.

Where do I even begin? Las Ventanas is perfection. The views, as you can imagine, are sublime. Day or night. It is next to impossible to take a bad photo here. The atmosphere... sophisticated, luxurious and serene. The rooms are spacious, spotless and well appointed. The food is fresh, plentiful and delicious. You will be at peace here...to rest and rejuvenate. No detail is overlooked and the answer is always, "Yes, of course". More often than not, you don't even have to ask.. your needs are often anticipated before you even realize that it was something you may have wished for. Truly, every member of the staff here is genuinely helpful, friendly and engaging. I cannot thank them enough for making my birthday celebration an absolutely unforgettable delight. There are so many reasons why this resort consistently wins awards as one of the best. I can't wait to return.

Sunrise each morning with coffee on the veranda is spectacular!

Par excellence from the moment you step from your taxi upon arrival. Arturo, Gabriel & Gabriela were the three who attended to our every need during our entire stay. Honorable mention by the main pool area were Jose who's personal attention brought a smile at every appearance. Citlali who I believe is responsible for a portion of the crew. Her delightful presence and knowledge enlightened us to more areas of the resort to explore. We made a few trips to the Tequila bar for sushi and had a wonderful experience. Kudos to the staff there! However, had I not enjoyed the tequila so much perhaps I would have remembered their names to credit them for our enjoyable evenings. Homemade Sangrita is the best! The attention to detail is appreciated. The gym, Spa, Taco bar, Main restaurant, several choices of infinity pools....We will return!

Being at a place like Las Ventanas al Paraiso, is like being in an art installment. Everything is immaculately groomed and thoughtfully procured down to the very flooring that you walk on. Even the architecture of the building itself with its clean lines and never-ending grand staircases feels intentionally curated. Your eyes will be drawn to the natural curvature of gem-colored infinity pools, robust towering palms, and beach cabanas with crisp white linens sunken into an endless coastline of hot sand. As if Las Ventanas could not get any more phantasmal, just wait until nightfall. Twinkling lights, candles, the smell of freshly grilled seafood, the sound of laughter and in-depth dinner conversations, and the taste of Tequila so pure it slides down the throat without hesitation. Whether you're a guest of the hotel, or merely coming for a meal at one of their many acclaimed restaurants, you're treated with unparalleled hospitality (as is standard of Mexico) and the notion (whether true or not) that anything you could possibly want can be found here. As with all dreams, there are endings- or in this case, caveats. You will have to pay to experience it, and even the most economical option here will force a pretty penny from your wallet. Is it worth it? As one not commonly swayed by prestige....even I find myself thinking "yes".

This place is stunning. I can see why the name translates into "windows to paradise." If you like a desert modern spanish architecture you will like Las Ventanas. There are 4 pools here of different sizes and styles to accommodate your needs. Each room gets a butler that will accomodate your needs. They offered to unpack our clothes. I don't generally take them up on that but I did and have to admit I kind of liked it. I got back to the room and all my clothes were in the closet and in drawers. Every night they would make sure the place was nice and tidy. I can see why people would love this place. I only had one gripe: the beach is not swimmable. We didn't see anyone swimming on the beach and when we asked they said the red flags were up due to rip currents. Since a big part of the reason we come to Cabo is to be on the beach that was a big drawback. This place is so stunning. If you're into posting on social media this would be heaven for you. It is so aesthetically pretty.

This is an overdue review of our extended Memorial Day weekend at Las Ventanas al Paraiso. The resort exceeded our expectations -- the beauty of our room and the grounds, the gracious and thoughtful service, delicious breakfasts and dinners. Thank you to our room butlers, Demetrio, Connie and Luis, for making our stay really enjoyable. Balloons in the bath one night and surprise desert delivered to our room after dinner (while we were out) were especially memorable, as the trip was an early celebration for a June birthday. Our room, number 408, was a junior suite with an ocean view and a rooftop terrace. The weather was in the 80s during our visit, so not too hot, and we used the rooftop terrace more than we initially anticipated. Dinner at Arbol was my husband's favorite. For me, it was a close call between Arbol and the casual ceviche bar. At the airport, I highly recommend Cactus rentals for a rental car. This was our third or fourth time renting with them. We had a terrible experience with Hertz over Christmas (Cactus' cars were all booked by the time we went to reserve a car) so I would avoid Hertz. We will definitely return to Las Ventanas al Paraiso.

This property is beautiful. My friend and I dined here during our trip to Cabo. We at at both restaurants. Even though they are close they are totally different in atmosphere. We ate at two on the beach. Our sommelier, Norman, was excellent and available for both locations. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. The most adorable part of this whole this was that my purse had its own seat when we dined in the sand.

My cabana..

The visit to the Las Ventanas was nothing short of excellent! The service is superb as their attentiveness to every move was spot on. They have unseen pathways the staff travels and radios to one another to ensure someone is right there if you need them. The food was delicious and went down well with the bottles of Caymus! During my time there Lisa Vanderpump, her husband and daughter were there too. She is tiny in real life and her husband can't be more than 5'5.. crazy to see them in person and their dog too. Lol Anyways, it was a great time there!

We were also offered a complementary popsicle and I opted for the margarita one which was delicious. Once we checked in, we opted for their upgrade which I believe is called Altamar, which means high ocean and for an extra $150/day we get a top suite right in the center and it includes breakfast buffets, daily mini bar refill, and a few other discounts for massages. Our room was literally right under the Hilton sign on the sixth floor. We had a great view of the whole property from our balcony. It's worth it because the buffet is around $40/person. The property is very nice and well maintained. They have a hot tub, infinity hot tub, an adult infinity pool, and a massive pool right in the center. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great. Everything was really good and it tasted authentic. I opted for the Cook to order omelettes or eggs and chilaquiles. The avocado toast was amazing. They have a Rotating item where a cook prepares it for you on the spot. You must get the nachos by the pool. They're great for two people and they were so good. They have a total of three restaurants which we ate at two of them because we really enjoyed the Italian, called Velas. They had live music the nights we went. We also went to Lena on taco Tuesday, which was their Tacos and Margarita Night. The beach is beautiful, very walkable. There is a lifeguard on duty. Beautiful sunsets. All the employees were always working, they were very helpful, and attentive. It was a very relaxing day.

We stayed 5 nights in a Master Suite with rooftop plunge pool, and overall had an amazing experience. The property itself is BEAUTIFUL. The second you walk in and see the ocean view, you understand why people love this resort. The staff here is honestly one of the biggest reasons I'd come back. Every single person was friendly and helpful. Huge shoutout to Alberto "Tequila," Rooney at Canto Del Mar, Francisco at Sakke, Eddie, Michel, and Ana -- they all made our stay extra special. Food was also surprisingly good for an all-inclusive. Instead of having huge buffets with mediocre food, they focused more on quality. The wood-fired pizza at Pergola was amazing, and the ribeye tacos at lunch were one of my favorite things I ate all trip. If you're debating the Canto Del Mar wine pairing dinner, DO IT. Expensive, yes. Worth it, absolutely. A few small things people should know: The "ocean view" in the casitas felt more like a garden/partial ocean view. The plunge pool rooftop area was huge, but we didn't use it much. The main pools are cold at first. There isn't much within walking distance, so plan on Ubering if you want to explore. But honestly, the positives far outweighed any negatives. The resort felt luxurious, relaxing, romantic, and never overcrowded. We also loved that you didn't have to wake up super early to fight for pool chairs. One random wish: I just wish the coffee shop/ice cream area stayed open later because late-night dessert cravings definitely happen here. Would absolutely stay again.

Every single person is incredibly nice, helpful, and there to truly provide you with a seamless experience. With the exception of our waiter on our last day who kept trying to clear my plate and silverware before I was done, all facets of the dining experience were great at all the restaurants and bars. Food quality wise is really subjective. There are a lot of great offerings (talking just the included options) and a lot of items that were not great. At the bazaar the bacon seemed either over or under cooked and some bread options stale. The rigatoni we had at the Italian joint felt overly salty like someone dropped the salt shaker on accident. The green juice saved all. The Nescafe coffee shop with gelato was also a nice touch for a quick bite and coffee. The rooms, while clean-ish are definitely showing some age. The light in our toilet room wasn't working so we were essentially going #1 and #2 in the dark. Our friend's fridge broke on their 2nd day. The "garden" view room in the 400 building was an issue. Not the lack of a garden to look at, but the humming of the adjacent hotel's generators or AC was so loud that we couldn't keep the doors open without some noise pollution. The 1 and 2 buildings should be better options. Gym is minimal. 2 treadmills, 2 bikes, 2 ellipticals, 1 bench. This place would also benefit from a free Sauna or steam room. Overall we had a great experience at the pool with all their activities, and would love to come back to this Adults-Only resort. Though what was up with only 1 hour of Karaoke on Friday nights? There are 2 hotels - Grand Velas (family-oriented) and Grand Velas Boutique (adults only). We stayed in the Grand Velas since most of the restaurants are located in the main hotel. From the vacation experience agent, Leonila, to our guest experience agent Thamara, to our personal concierge, Tony, this journey was destined for success. We enjoyed working with each person, even prior to our arrival. The car service arranged through the hotel was smooth except for the outer-bands, post-hurricane sudden downpour at the airport. It's weather so what can you do about it? I understand such events are infrequent in Cabo, however. Both drivers were friendly and conversational. The resort is beautiful with curved walkways, 3 outdoor pools, with at least 1 outdoor large jacuzzi, and a tropical landscape. The infinity edge of the adult pool extended its view into the ocean! There is also a Teen Clubroom and a children's play area near the family pools. It is a well-staffed property with pleasant and polite team members at every level. If we happened to lose our way, the staff not only provided directions but took the time to walk with us to our destination!!! Tony, our personal concierge was in constant communication and our go-to for questions and support. He elevated our anniversary celebration by providing us with several personalized surprises! His contributions provided us with great memories! Delightful experience at every restaurant, especially the many fine dining establishments. (Individual restaurant reviews coming soon). The luxury spa (the water journey was very relaxing), a reserved photoshoot (beautiful and professional photos), and wonderful poolside service, including a frozen treat cart and in-pool (literally) cocktail service, were all worth the time. The resort offers a daily schedule of on-resort activities in addition to access to off-resort activities. Two tips: 1) I recommend boxing out a couple of hours for post -water journey relaxation to enjoy the benefits of this detoxing, muscle stimulating, de-stressing experience. 2) plan for 2 appointments for the photoshoot, first for the shoot, a second, to select your photos. I've seen reviews of other all-inclusive properties where guests say after 3 days, they tire of the food choices. You will not have that problem here. Besides all the amazing all-inclusive food, my favorite part of each restaurant were the views.

The food at the pool restaurant is amazing - still thinking about the shrimp and guac. Only some of the pools are heated so keep that in mind. Not enough seating sometimes for the family pool. The kids club was great - our kids really enjoyed their time there. Easy to grab an uber, they drop off at the security gate and literally it is a 2 min walk to the main entrance. We asked for multiple things throughout our stay (like a wine opener, straws, etc) and they were super accommodating. Everyone is very very friendly and nice. There's a pool area which was very beautiful. No jacuzzi, but its so hot anyway. You can order meal service by the pool - alcohol, smoothies, cocktails, you name it. We also got a hotel add-on for a picnic - picnic blankets under large beach umbrellas on their grass so you're not sitting directly in the sun. They serve charcuterie, a few bottles of wine, and some delicious chicken sandwiches. The meals here are ok. For dinner, I got the pork belly tacos and the pulled pork tacos. Both were ok but the price is hefty (about $11 per taco)! The free continental breakfast in the mornings is not bad. There's a buffet area with lots of fruit, granola, pastries, and some hummus/chips. You can also order eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. Overall, I'd give their meals a 3/5. Title: Come for the Views, Stay for the Watered‑Down Drinks and CSI‑Level Housewares…read more Dreams Los Cabos has stunning ocean views, but everything else feels like the resort is being held together with hope, duct tape, and a prayer. Let's start with the room. Ours featured white patching on the closet wall, fixtures that looked like they hadn't been polished since the early 2000s, and a safe that opened only when it felt spiritually aligned. The ironing board cover looked like it had been part of a forensic investigation, and the iron was missing a knob -- which I assume fell off sometime around 2018 and nobody bothered to replace. The drinks were so watered down I'm convinced the bartenders are trying to keep guests hydrated for liability reasons. I've had stronger beverages at a toddler's birthday party. And speaking of beverages -- I injured my tongue on a chipped glass. Not a tiny chip either. This wasn't even the only cracked or chipped drinking utensil I found. At this point, I started wondering if the resort was running a secret "guess which glass is safe" challenge. Then there was the cookie‑jar incident. I accidentally broke the glass cover on a cookie display and they tried to charge me $30 USD to replace it. I explained it was an accident and asked them to show me the security footage so we could walk through what exactly I was supposed to do differently. Shockingly, they didn't take me up on that offer. The "24‑hour" Coco Café? It closes early, and the ice cream machine gets shut down at night because they "don't want to clean it later." Truly inspiring hospitality. And let's not forget the timeshare reps, who are so pushy they could probably sell sand to the beach. Even when you tell them upfront you're not buying, they treat it like a personal challenge. The staff themselves were wonderful -- genuinely the best part of the stay -- but they're working in a resort that desperately needs updates, maintenance, and a management team that actually walks the property. And just to confirm this wasn't a one‑off, we stayed in the penthouse at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta, and that property was also a dump. So apparently this is a theme with older Hyatt all‑inclusive resorts in Mexico. Come for the views. Stay for the stories. Leave wondering how Hyatt signed off on any of this. FORGOT TO MENTION: 1. STAINS ON THE SOFA 2. TOWELS I WOULD NOT EVEN WASH MY VEHICLES WITH 3. POORLY DRAIN BATHROOM SINK WE HAD BEEN THERE BEFORE FOR A SONS WEDDING AND ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO IT WAS STILL NICE. NOW IT SHOULD BE THE LOW-ETT AND NOT THE HYATT AS FAR AS STANDARDS GO AND EXPECTATIONS. BAR SET BELOW GROUND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE PROPERTY IF THAT IS WHERE YOUR STANDARDS ARE
