When we got it home, I charged it as instructed, but the device does not work at all. It never functioned, even after being fully charged. We contacted the shop to let them know we received a defective product, and we were told all sales are final. I understand store policies, but I find it very disappointing that there is no support or exchange offered for a product that is clearly not working as intended when purchased. This is especially frustrating given that many customers use these products for medical relief and are already struggling financially. I was not asking for a refund because I changed my mind, only because the item is defective and unusable. I hope the business considers updating its policy to better handle situations where a product simply does not work. In West Virginia, an "All Sales Final" policy legally bars you from returning an item simply because you changed your mind. However, it does not void the retailer or manufacturer's responsibility for defective products . Merchants cannot use an "all sales final" disclaimer to bypass product safety or failure laws .
