El Lindero was very cute and busy, when we went in. We had just walked down from the Palacio del…read moreObispado, and it was a few blocks away. We were seated pretty quickly, and the restaurant looks like it was once a house. They use a lot of reclaimed wood on the walls, along with some TVs playing regional music and decor that gives it a very homey feel.
The menu had a lot of options, but they are known for their enchiladas. They let you know in advance, that the food is made from scratch, and it may take a while. It did take a while, but the tostada and guacamole came out pretty quickly. The enchiladas verde were amazing and my bf has their house specialty that came with enchiladas topped with beef, plantains, beans, guacamole.
Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely come again, when in Monterrey.
