What a view! Comfortable seats, as in, I'm on a sofa right now:) The wind is blowing, which feels great, and the service is incredible! I have had the sea bass ceviche so far, which is yummy. The restaurant is connected to the mall, so I recommend most of the restaurants here. Usually I only spend around $30 American dollars or so, so I consider this very cheap. San Pedro has MANY nice places like this. The make salsa for you at your table when you arrive, and give you restaurant style tortilla chips. I decided to post as it's a very nice experience. Nice environment, good service, amazing view, and low prices. What else can you ask for? PS: Not a paid promotion, just an American guy appreciating all the beautiful women here!

My favorite restaurant in Monterrey! The food was amazing. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was great. I loved the food so much I can't wait to come back all the way from the California. My Tio brought us here and I'm so glad!! LOVED LOVED LOVED

Amazing vibe. Great music, outdoor seating overlooking the mountains above and the bustling street below. Big screen showing futbol of local favorite stars. Who knew grilled fresh octopus with fresh guacamole and roasted grasshoppers could be so very good together. Find your way to Monterrey. Come here. You won't be sorry.

I've had a number of meals here. Everything has been good - from the fish to traditional Mexican dishes. all well prepared with fresh ingredients. First time I ever had Cabrito was here - shoulder cut was awesome. They have extensive outside seating with nice views. Very popular place regardless of what night of the week it is. It's located in the San Pedro District of Monterey which is the most desirable and upscale area. Don't let the location in the mall fool you. Highly recommended place to eat if you're ever in Monterey.

    Black bean soup- absolutely delicious!

Seven of us showed up mid week for dinner without a reservation. They wanted to seat us inside versus in the outside dining room which was full. We suggested they push together three tables in the bar area because we wanted to eat outside since it was winter back home for all of us. They obliged. I started with the black bean soup which was excellent. Creamy and delicious. I had the salmon pipian but wouldn't get it again. Two guys got the Cabritos (baby goat) and the Mexicna guy said it was the best Cabritos he ever had. One had a shrimp dish and he said it was ok. Service was ok but hectic. Our server was always reaching over me, even reaching from my right side to put something to my left. Our server's English was limited. The place was bustling and busy the whole time. I recommend sticking to local dishes here. I would eat here again but order differently.

We stayed at a local hotel and walked over to this nice restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful and the view is spectacular. Maybe they were just having a rough night but the service was slow. We were a large party and they wouldn't break up our check so it took a long time for us to figure out who had what. I wasn't impressed by that. I ordered the mahi-mahi and the food was good but nothing that was so great I would need to go back again.

This was my favorite restaurant in Monterrey. Located in a mall, I was pretty surprised to find the freshness, quality, and coolness behind this authentic Mexican restaurant. At 3pm on a Tuesday, this place was filled all types, but mostly those escaping the office; an apparent favorite amongst the well-heeled in Monterrey. We sat inside to escape the cold, but there's ample outdoor seating along with a well-stocked bar pouring everything from beer to mixed cocktails. I love the salsas they prepared tableside and if you're not into spicy, make sure you let them know. We started with 3 cazuelas: bowls filled with meaty stews. In order of my favorites: +Barbacoa de Arrachera (steamed flank steak) +Chiicharrón en salsa verde (pork) +Artopellado (carne seca en salsa) These 3 were enough to fill up our table (and each time you wanted some of the cazuela, you would spread some into a corn or flour tortilla. Simple and divine. The black bean soup I followed it up with was perfectly sized; I loved the freshly diced avocado. For dessert, we split: +Pastel tibio de chocolate con nieve de mole (warm chocolate cake with mole ice cream). Any fan of chocolate will go nuts. The side of homemade mole ice cream was a great pairing to the warm, gooey chocolate cake. +Pan tibio de elote con nieve de palpmitas (warm cornbread, topped with a sweet sauce, and a side of popcorn ice cream). This was another winner in the dessert category. Overall, a great spot for lunch or dinner.

Perfectly prepared, delicious, authentic Mexican food. Our table had a variety of dishes including grasshoppers, guacamole, queso flameado, puerco guisada, tacos de pescado, blue corn quesadillas with squash blossom (flor de calabaza), micheladas and mexican pizza. Fantastic salsas made on the spot. Highly recommended to foreign travelers. Cost was very reasonable considering the quality.

Margarita Embajada, very good, it doesn't last long.

A trendy Mexican restaurant in the mall closest to hotels in San Pedro (Monterrey's classiest suburb). It is very popular due to its drinks (I tried the Margarita Embajada and it was good, sweet and tangy), personalized salsas and location. The ambiance is trendy and it could wow a date or business partner. Nevertheless, food is not worth the expensive prices. Portions are too small and taste was pretty normal. No innovation in the main dishes. They are basically saucy meats to have in tacos. I don't mean to say it sucks, it is a decent place to have a meal and guacamole with grasshopers. What did seem worth the visit was the original take on corn bread dessert with popcorn ice cream. Only that is worth going.

Delicious steaks, appetizers, highly recommend. I enjoyed the guacamole with grasshoppers, the Babel and Chihuahua cheese plates and bone marrow.

    Frozen Margarita was perfect!

Excellent food and wait staff. Very friendly and has English speaking waiters if needed. The salmon and queso fundido was very good but the margarita was superb!
