The manager pretends to care (but is ruled by the corporation that is certainly not present) but sheriff has been summoned numerous times here and it is like gestapo here. I have heard from other tenants if you do have someone spend the night it is a charge of $100. Not only are you not appreciated as a tenant you are treated as a child who needs constant supervision. The manger does love to drive around the park exhearting her importance and constantly spying on people just waiting to write you up for anything at all.

We have an older home, but the space around us, our yard and the fences/walls, gives us all the privacy we want. There is a beautiful pool and hot tub, the pool area is very conducive to gatherings and the clubhouse has so many amenities, it's just plain fun. Indoor/outdoor shuffleboard, pool table, gym, library. If you didn't need to by food, you wouldn't need to leave. When my husband and I stumbled across this property in 2010 we knew we had found a diamond in the rough. The place needed some TLC but the location was the best in all of Palm Springs...located in the quiet beauty of South Palm Canyon Drive, steps from the mountain and a short distance from downtown. The VIEWS WILL TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY and we never tire of them. We bought a place as an investment knowing someone would eventually see what we saw and renovate it. 10 years later we moved in full time and retired in the most beautiful community you will ever find. New roads, new pools, new clubhouse, new owners and new management! ALL stellar! Add to that some of the loviest people you will ever meet for neighbors. The Neighborhood Watch is one of the best I have ever experienced with crime almost a non event with well trained block captains, gated entries, 24 hour security and on site management who actually listen , care, and act quickly and responsibly on the behalf of the community. I could write for hours about the positives to living here. Come check it out! He and our ongoing staff have proven the value of dedicated, experienced people who keep up with security, safety and amenities. Staff has shown that they are friendly, skilled and interested in the well being of the community. I'm glad that we have bilingual, welcoming staff. There have been recent upgrades to the club house and adjoining rooms: library, billiard/TV room, kitchen and laundry room. There's a large mineral water swimming pool --usually about 96º! :) -- plus hot mineral baths (3 pools of varying temps,) saunas and rest rooms, all nicely maintained. Pickle Ball court is well-maintained and attracts players from the area. The park is dog friendly. Camping rates seem a little high to me, so I'll take one star off for that. I could be wrong, as I haven't checked rates in the area lately. I just see that they are higher than when we moved here 9 years ago.

Healing Waters has been my year around home since January 2014 …read more As a 55+ senior park , it offers comfortable, affordable living choices and some of the best hot mineral water in the world. 4 pools are fed with 140-degree water from our on-site week. The water is then cooled to temps from 88-104. They operate on a continuous flow thru system 24&7. That smeans minimal chlorine is required by the health dept and the water turns over on a regular basis. Speaking of the pools, Boavida just invested 10's of thousands of dollars to replaster and tile all 4, The deck got a new topcoat that adds slip and heat-resistant qualities. New spa and string lights offer a glowing and tranquil soaking or swimming experience after sunset. The new perimeter fencing blends seamlessly to create a 5-star environment. Pool rehab was completed by Rammel Construction. The lived up to their own Yelp page reviews despite a few unforeseen weather and supply chain issues. Our community manager Yolanda and #1 Maintenance Man Joe did a fine job keeping residents apprised of delays and projected opening dates. Boavida needs to clone those two people. They are the best things to happen staff wise at Healing Waters in 11 years The spas were drained on SEP 24. Residents were able swim in the Lap pool until OCT 6 when it was drained . Spas were reopened OCT 24 and the LAP pool on NOV21, After nearly a month of not being able to take the water,  It was a pleasure to resume my daily soaking and swimming exercises. Has everything always been perfect over my residency? Of course not. But what living environment is?  My concerns were always addressed in as timely a manner as corporate América can do sometimes. Utility and other emergency issues have always been handled quickly. We never had complaints until we gave our…read more30 day notice to move out and when we sent movers to pick up our furniture 2 days before our last paid day we found out they allowed painters to move our furniture to paint without notifying us and allowed unknown individuals access to take furniture without our approval or knowledge. When we brought it to their attention they apologized and said they would get our belongings returned. After over a month of excuses we still didn't get our belongings returned and had to hire an attorney.

I followed up with a call and the maintenance Rep was right on it! He contacted the repair company, Frosty's A/C right away. They came out that evening and by the next day around noon, the part had been installed and the A/C was working again! Thank you SO much for expediting my service request. You ARE the best!!!
