It took some convincing, but a group of us was able to squeeze in here just as they were trying to…read moreclose. If BWW is closed, where else are you supposed to eat late night except for drive thru options? They made us order everything right away, which we did, then they brought the check soon thereafter, which was fine by me and very un-Mexican of them. (If you're not used to dining out in Mexico, typically the customer has to go hunting down the server for the check).
We tried to order more beer, but our server told us the bar was closed. Having spent half my life working in restaurants, I knew he in fact meant that the taps and liquor bottles had already been cleaned, so I asked if we could order bottled beer and he respectfully obliged.
Despite being the last table in the joint, the food came out fresh and hot. You could tell we didn't get the last batch of fries or wings that would have been sitting in the fryer.
