Good price for their delicious fresh food, I enjoyed talking with one the owners they are friendly and respectful. Great food!

I love this place! I will never get Mexican food anywhere else in Redding again. I didn't even know how much I was missing out till I started coming here. Their food is fresh and flavorful! I get a vegetarian burrito and they are so huge I usually have leftovers. I always tell everyone about this place because it's just so darn good. And to top it off I love the family that runs this place. They are so kind. I am more than happy to support this business. read more

Went during the middle of lunch time. People were friendly. Food was good. Lady at the counter states corn tortillas are gluten free, we will be back as it is difficult to find gluten free dishes. I had the special, tamale and carnitas taco with rice and beans. It was good. I look forward to trying more dishes at this new lil place. read more

Las Dos Marias - Mexican Near Me - Redding, California

This is the best Mexican food in Redding! I've looked for many mexican restaurants here, and haven't had much success. Other places always taste cheap and leaves you feeling heavy. Los Dos Marias seems lighter and fresher. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Their flavors have a freshness that other places don't have. For example, a typical "salad" on a burrito plate would only have lettuce, tomato and onion, but Los Dos Marias makes it much better with fresh cilantro and a chopped jalapeno, which adds some nice flavor notes. They even have a nice spicy habanero salsa! Most places don't have much heat, and I like the heat! Check this place out! read more

We came through town and wanted some good tacos. Although I usually like more flavor, what we did get was very fresh and tasted homemade. The kids ate everything because it wasn't spicy. The salsa was great and they make their own chips. We will return next time we are up this way! read more

I just had the Asada burrito...every bite was full of fatty meat pieces, I tried to choke it down, but gagged on a bite halfway through and almost lost my lunch! read more

Tried Las Dos Marias a few weeks ago for the first time. I was very impressed with their chicken tacos - so tender and the sauce on them was sooo good! Their beans and rice were flavorful and the price is great for the quality of food. I'll definitely be going back soon! read more

After moving from southern California, all I wanted was some good authentic Mexican food. And this comes pretty close. Nothing in redding will ever compare to south of the grapevine but this place satisfied. Plus Maria in the front also gets us laughing. the staff and food are awesome. read more

I had a very competent veggie burrito here while driving down from Seattle to the Bay Area. It was a quick, efficient food stop.

Best in town the carnitas are the best the salsa is awesome every meal me and the family has had is great

Great food. Quick drive thru for homemade! Love the family that runs it always friendly and smiling.

I had two tamales w/ rice and beans - quite satisfactory, that. The sauces and salsas are a bit on the unchiled side, but still flavorful. and one can always add Tapatio sauce. This was only 6.75. Glad we didn't spend twice as much at the place up the street. Chips and salsa were included as well. Now Los Dos Marias is on our list for eating in Redding. read more

The burritos was a decent size. Got a carne one. Although for $7.85 for the burrito you can go to el delicioso and get the same kind of burrito for $6.99 and its double the size with the meat being less fatty. It needed a bit more spices and more meat. Plus side is sour cream and guac at no extra charge. I probably won't go back just because of the price. Very nice woman in drive through. read more

The portions are small for the beans and rice. And they could use more flavor. It's a good place with good food and wonderful owners.

A-mazing food, large quanities, and really nice people (was that you, Maria?). My wife and I were driving through, found it on Yelp, ordered ahead of time as we drove south on I-5, and had some awesome mexican food for dinner as we traveled south! Next time we are driving thru, it's a for sure stop for food! read more

I'm very pleased with the consistent quality and speed of service. The price is very fair. The service is genuinely friendly. It isn't spicy Mexican. Most of the food I ate in Mexico is like this. I eat the chicken tacos and bean burritos regularly. It's very good. read more

Such good Mexican food! Definitely something special, the flavored sauces and meat was so great!

Since complaining that they don't give free soda refills, their policy has changed....yay...we will be back more often now :)

Good chimichangas, pretty reasonable prices and the lady is always friendly when I call in order. I'm not too big on Mexican food but my husband is and loves it. Tamales could use a little more meat, besides that pretty good read more

Awesome family run taqueria. Love their taquitos, carnitas, and everything else. Love that they also have a drive thru. Service is always quick n good is always good. read more

I have only had rice and beans and tacos. This isn't true and authentic Mexican but is very inexpensive, so i can't complain to much.

Went there for a late lunch on january 8 2015. We thought they had to be good because they were fairly busy. The three of us in our group all ordered different things and we were all very disappointed. The chips were stale but the salsa was pretty good. The meat was tough and fatty and lacking flavor. The beans and rice were almost inedible. The rice seemed like it had been sitting for hours with dry hard peices throughout. The beans were completely flavorless and very watery. The inside of the restaurant was uncomfortably warm for a january day. The only positive part of our experience was the owner. They were friendly and very attentive. read more

Great Authentic Mexican food. I always eat here when I'm in the area, customer service amazing, they feel like family

I found this little gem by accident - it's next door to the shoe repair store that I use! I always get the chicken tacos because they are SO good! The chicken is tender and the sauce is delicious! This is a family business and they are all very nice and friendly. I agree with one of the other reviewers.....let's keep this restaurant in business!! read more

Delicious homemade meals. The salmon tacos were perfectly grilled with the roasted salsa and tasty horchata. I will definitely drop in again. read more

Service was prompt, the food was cheap, the venue was solid, but the quality of the food was underwhelming. With all of the different options for Mexican food in the area, this wouldn't be my top choice, even for the price. read more

It's the most amazing and authentic food in town it blows away all the other food and the prices are amazing. You get better food for better prices the service is amazing and they're extremely friendly. If ou want Mexican food come here and you won't be disappointed! read more

So after extensive research ( Yelp reviews) I decided to check out this local restaurant that had such divided reviews the old-fashioned way, by eating the food. The restaurant was easy to find, good parking, and helpful friendly and patient service. I scanned the menu and decided on chicken tacos, flautas, and chicken enchiladas. All came with rice and beans. For three meals it cost about $20.00 which I consider a value since there was plenty of food for left-overs. So all in all, the food was good, and I found the service excellent ( important to me) and the value was satisfying and I recommend you try it. I discussed the lack of spicy-ness with one of the Marias and she said she would include spicy sauce if I wanted. Also bulk tamales could be ordered as spicy as I wanted. Oh and another attractive aspect was that all food was cooked there on site- and it was clean. Muy importante!!!!! read more

Hands down the best burritos in town. The prices are amazing with everything on the menu in the 5 to 6 dollar range. I have not had beans like that since I lived in San Diego.. Thank you Redding for finally getting an amazing and authentic Mexican food joint! read more

This is my new favorite Mexican place to eat in Redding! They make the best street tacos that I have found in town. I have had the Carnitas, Carne Asada, Shrimp, and Fish tacos. All are excellent! They don't skimp on the quality. The Carnitas and Carne Asada tacos both came with a dollop of guacamole and tomato on top of the usual meat, onion, and cilantro. It still tastes very much like a typical street taco, but just elevated a bit. It is a very welcome touch and does not at all take away from the authenticity of the tacos. The Fish tacos are a choice of tilapia or salmon. I had the tilapia and was happy to see it was not breaded fish. I hate when the fish in a taco is breaded and deep fried. The breading on a fish taco is the tortilla. I don't need extra breading on the fish itself or deep frying of my food. The shrimp is also not breaded. That is the authentic was to make fish and shrimp tacos. The chips are home made and very good. The salsa is very mild and even kids can eat it, however it is packed with great flavor! If you haven't tried it, you really must get there and you will understand what I am talking about. They also have a drive through and are located just off of the I-5 Freeway. read more

Chile Relleno was huge and very tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Good food, good service and inexpensive!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The drive up is convenient and their flautas are amazing. The service is always friendly.

By far this is the best mexican restaurant in Redding its small fast and delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped here for lunch on a whim the other day. So glad we did. This will be my go to place for Mexican food. Salsa was unique and delicious so we're the chips. I am so picky on Mexican, I've been to places people rave about and not been happy.. This place did everything just right. Beans are my make or break and theirs are delicious!! Now I am hungry! read more

I ordered the al pastor burrito and horchata. Both were very delicious. I will be going back.

I was looking for good mexican food one day and I found this resterant and it was awesome. I got the carnita taco plate( it was loaded full of lean meat) and a ala cart chili rellino and it was so good, the staff was very nice and when I'm up here in Redding I will return. :) read more

This is by FAR my favorite mexican food place in Redding (Or any surrounding area). It tastes authentic and the owners are some of the friendliest people I've seen. I always get the chicken enchilladas and my fiance always gets the Asada burrito and they are SOOO good! The meat is always cooked great and like I said the service is very friendly. I always recommend this place to friends and coworkers. read more

We had a chicken burrito and a chicken chimichanga with chips and salsa. The restaurant is small and unassuming. We were greeted by smiling cashier behind the counter. The salsa tasted fresh and roasted. Very good. My burrito was simple however the chicken had a wonderful grilled flavor. The chimi was nicely proportioned, served with guac, sour cream, pico, rice and beans. Nice flavor with fresh ingredients. Worth a repeat when driving through town. read more

Fish Tacos. The fish was grilled salmon, As good as the fish tacos at Jaco Taco in Costa Rica.
