I drive up Lomas past the Garden Center all the time but I only recently read the sign and decided to look up what it was. Behind all the trees, there is a little Albuquerque gem. I looked up their website and read all about a plant sale they had going on. I got two cute little plants and was excited to see the space. The actual gardens were closed when I went but I want to go back to check them out. I would also definitely go back for another plant sale, the prices were great and they had some fun stuff to choose from. One note, the parking is terrible when they are super busy. I doubt that they are super busy too often, probably only for events and such but when it is, getting in and out is a huge pain.

There are some rules like no bubbles or confetti, but they are all outlined in contract. We had employees there to supervise and help out. Because it was early April and the gardens don't open till mid April we couldn't have the ceremony in the gardens. It turned out to be less expensive. But when it came time for taking pictures, the staff let us and some of our guests take photos in the garden. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. They made for a beautiful backdrop for our photos. Although it was not open on the weekends, there is a garden shop that sells fun garden themed items. There is a small courtyard in the front which also makes for good pictures. What's interesting is that the building itself doesn't look that special as I would drive past it every day and wouldn't have known about it if wasn't for the sign. It's a great hidden gem in the middle of Albuquerque and was a very nice venue to have a wedding.

On the day of our wedding, our room was not ready on-time putting our schedule for family photos behind and a time-crunch for getting ready. They were patient as we all waited in the lobby with their equipment, all of our things like luggage, wedding dress, and an impatient child. Once we got to the room, we all hit the ground running. They outlined a schedule and we managed to stay mostly on-track. I got to see a few sneak peaks of our photos and I cannot wait to get them. We got to take photos at Tiguex Park in front of the most vibrant tree that will make our photos. I'm sure that the vista of the Sandia's around sunset as we said our vows will be stunning.

The fact that its right across from a Target and other retail stores and good dining is plus... not that i don't love the free entertainment of some Walmart patrons,but after spending the wee hours of the morning in a car dealership to get a WiFi connection, I was in no mood.The rooms are beautiful (no snapchat model shock here) extremely clean, and the entire facility is smoke free, and a restaurant style breakfast is served in the a.m. The best part however, was the warm and super friendly customer service i received when i walked through the door. I was primed for an aloof and obdurate reception at best, but was gifted with quite the opposite from Sheri Brewer. A fraction of the cost and far more luxury with a friendly face. Not only was the room the biggest I've had on my vacation across the country, it was one of the cleanest. Nicest "inn" for a fact. The room was quiet and in a separate building behind the lobby. It was convenient though and felt more private. The cook to order breakfast was different and my little one loved it! My key stopped working during my stay so that was pretty irritating first thing in the morning

And, no, this business has absolutely nothing to do with fowl of any kind that I can discern. It is actually a great Co-Working Space. I stopped in to Free Range for an event that was happening there. While I was there, I asked to have a tour of the space. They were surprised, but very accommodating. I was surprised at how large a space it is and how many different options to work, collaborate and hold meetings of different sizes are available. Private office spaces. Conference rooms and large meeting rooms. Bright and airy spaces. Not cramped / swished together spaces that I have seen in some co-working spaces. If you are looking for an every-now-and-then space, or a more permanent "office" space, check out Free Range. Ask for a tour. They have plenty of parking . . . .and even a 2nd location in Nob Hill, if this location just west of the University doesn't work for you. Why did I only give them four stars? Well, because I haven't actually worked there . . .yet. But, when and if I need a co-working space, this will definitely be my go-to option.
