very difficult to get an appointment or to get through on the telephone. Reception staff vary hugely - from quite nice and helpful (one) to abrupt, uncaring and rude (several). Everything seems to have to happen online now so I pity the elderly or those who are less tech savvy. Because it is virtu impossible to see a GP face to face I predict some very unfortunate outcomes for people in the future as significant symptoms will be missed. It's easier just to give up then take on the impenetrable phone system and rigid receptionists. Baffles me why they are rated 'outstanding' - one wonders what 'needs improvement' looks like.
I realise surgeries are under pressure all over the country but that's no consolation to the clients who are getting a sub standard service that has gone rapidly downhill over the past 15 years or so. read more
