A well run, friendly practice which makes visiting the doctor a more pleasant experience…read more The Range Medical Centre is conveniently located on Withington Road, and is easy to access from Chorlton, Hulme or Whalley Range via bus. The reception and admin staff are polite and courteous, making efforts to accommodate your appointment and work around your schedule, often calling you back if a more convenient slot becomes available. They are very professional and maintain patient confidentiality, and speak about patients respectfully when talking to each other (which I have seen reception staff fail to do in so many other practices). The waiting rooms are clean and comfortable, displaying useful information and calling you to the surgery rooms via a large screen. There is even an electronic check-in desk where you can sign in for your appointment when the reception desk is very busy. All of the doctors and practice nurses I have seen have been professional and caring, and I would recommend this surgery to anyone living in the catchment area.

I've been a patient at this doctors surgery for approx. 12 months. I suffer from long term health…read moreproblems so on average I go to the doctors at least once a month. When I first joined the doctors I was very apprehensive as I had been with my previous doctor all my life. Dr Sadiq made me feel very reassured and at ease. He's a pleasant man and he never makes me feel like I'm wasting him time, something I used to feel quite a lot at my previous doctors. The locum doctors have always been nice too although I would always prefer to see Dr Sadiq. The main downside with this surgery is the reception staff. Two of them (the blonde ones) are very loud, unpleasant and rude. They literally give me a headache while I am waiting to see the doctor and they make you feel like you are an inconvenience, everything they do seems like too much trouble for them. I believe a surgery should be a quiet place, people are obviously not well so sitting there listening to these two gossip loudly and be rude to patients is really annoying. There is one receptionist (dark hair) who I find okay, she isn't loud and she's never been rude to anybody in front of me. The surgery itself is always clean and has a lot of leaflets for information. It's sometimes a bit warm though. I've never been to the toilet so I don't know what they are like.
