I've had a couple great experiences here. First, I was heading out on cross country trip and realized I needed a new rear tire. I called around to dealers and as expected they were booked up for weeks. Larson's was also booked solid, but found a way to squeeze me in on very short notice. Second, I bought a new motorcycle from them this Spring. Due to a shortage of bikes, many dealerships were pricing above MSRP. In addition, other dealers often add charges for delivery and set-up which can easily add $500-$1000 to the list price. Larson's sold the bike at MSRP and there were no delivery or set-up charges. I greatly appreciated their transparency in pricing and think I got good value for my money. I will definitely purchase from them in the future. read more

I personally bought a 2015 Yamaha fz09 from Larson cycle 2 yrs ago and charged me close to $8000 for the bike and would not budge on price that was a 3 yr old bike. now the bike has 4,380 miles on the bike and many upgrades. so I called Larson cycle and asked what they could give me for a value because I am interested in buying a brand new 2021 Suzuki GSXR1000 from them and was told they already have on in stock and don't want it but if I want to purchase a bike stop on in. then I asked so you don't want my bike you just want me to buy a bike. then I just hung up. Went into a lot of dealers in the cites. Only one even talked to me cause i was not ready to spend at least 40k. Chris was great. I looked at the bike I wanted and he sold it to me. Made me a deal better than I expected. They ever serviced it and put in a new battery for me. NO CHARGE. They were even cool with me riding it home in the snow at 22 degrees. Parts department was great too with the parts I needed for my other bike. Jess, Mike and everyone there was great. Nice and polite. read more

OK, this is my second review of Larson's. In my first review I tried to be humorous, because I knew Larson's gave me a good deal on my trade in. This time, I'll be a little more serious. This business is run by Mike Larson and his daughter Jessia. Both are nice people and have to keep a positive outlook despite the percentage of dirtball customers attracted to any motorcycle dealership. This week I traded in my F6B Honda for a lighter Star 1300 Deluxe and a Yamaha scooter for my wife. The price was really fair. Mike personally delivered the bikes and picked up my trade. No extra charge. Mike and Jessia made the trade without even having looked at the F6B. They trusted me when I told them zero flaws. The new machines were delivered spotlessly clean. So, I should say, I don't know the Larson's except for being a customer. Take the time to head up Central Avenue, also called Hwy 65. You will see one of the largest and most diverse displays of motorcycles in Minnesota. Great people. What more could any dealer do? read more

In short: Absolutely horrible customer service, I would go out of my way to avoid these people in the future. Have to chase after THEM to try and give them my money. The details: I called in December and spoke with Jessa Larson (one of the namesakes of Larson Cycle) to reserve a motorcycle that was to be released in February. I was told my name was at the top of the list and would get a call back when they had more detail. I never received a call back - so I called myself and was told Jessa was busy but she would call. Another week went by with no return call, so I called a third time and was told the bike (the only one they have in stock) was sold to someone else. I then left a voice mail for Mike, the owner, and never received a call back from him! I called again and finally got a hold of Mike only to hear 'sorry, nothing I can do.' Mike Larson and the whole crew no their stuff and are in excellent group of people. They have a great history and since connection to the motorcycle community I've never had a bad experience working with them for over 12 years! Mine and my husbands personal experience has been that this is a very down-to-earth people who are willing to work with you and know their product. I've bought multiple motorcycles over the years from Larson's. Hands down best dealership within 90 miles of the city's. Jess who runs sales is fantastic! She's helped me out plenty of times with wuestioms on just about every bike on there showroom. Pete and the guys in the service department are extremely knowledgeable and prompt.. keep in mind people being this good at your job brings in lots of customers so sometimes you have to wait around a little..
