After buying a brand new washing machine at Sears and it dying the a year after the warranty , I knew they don't make things like they used to after lots of googling new vs old washing machines. I just wanted a machine for our hair salon that wasn't fancy and worked. The machine worked fine the day we received it, then when we tried it again 2 months later (New shop not open yet) it was dead. LARRY CAME OVER A FEW HOURS LATER! I MEAN THAT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He explained that the plumbers remodeling hit the sensor and also the hose was not on right! Best customer service ! If you are looking for fancy, this isn't your place...it may even look shady. I read the reviews before going in, and got the bait and switch. The one I saw online was not available, but here's this one for $100 more. Unfortunately, electric stackable washer / dryer combos were rare online so his price was still very competitive. I paid and he set up delivery for the next week. After delivery, the washer leaked. Larry said he guaranteed the machine for two months, and to his credit he came through. His repairman was on vacation, so Larry showed up himself after work on a weeknight after 8pm. He brought a bunch of repair parts with him, but ended up concluding that the washer was unrepairable. He scheduled for a new one to be sent the next week and this one works like a charm. There were some issues with the delivery / pickup of the units, but Larry said he wasn't pleased with the original delivery guy and sent a new one out with the new unit. I would definitely go to Larry again for appliances. I have used Norm's before (also in Framingham) and they are both good guys with quality used appliances and kind of scary shops. read more

I bought a refurbished clothes dryer from Larry's 7 years ago. I paid less than $300 for it. He delivered it that day, installed it, and carted away the old dryer for no charge. Now, 7 years later, the dryer still runs great. I'd buy from him again in a heartbeat. Also, every year, I buy all my outside flowers, mulch, etc. from Larry's. The service is much more personal than those big box stores, and I'm happy to give my business to a local retailer rather than those other stores. The store might not be the cleanest and most brightly lit, but you'll never get better service. read more

Larry is the best. Great selection, excellent prices, but most of all, excellent service. Appliances were delivered instantly. He keeps his word on warranty and comes over if something is not right. My dryer stopped heating in a couple of months, Larry came all the way at night in poor weather and fixed it in minutes. His place may not be luxury looking, but his prices and quality of service is unbeatable. read more

I went here on the recommendation of two friends, who were happy with their refrigerator purchases from Larry's. The place was scary-looking--quite down-at-the-heels. I almost did not go in. It smelled very musty inside, and it had an extremely poor selection. I did not look at the refrigerators, but there were only three gas dryers, two of which looked like they were from the 1970s. Larry himself waited on me, and encouraged my interest in the third one. He blandly lied to my face about its age, telling me it was only 3 to 4 years old. I took down the model number, looked it up online and discovered it was at least 17 years old! read more

Horrible! I called to make sure the washer I saw a pic of online was still available and Larry said it was. He also said there were a few to choose from within my price range, under $200. I drove 45 minutes to his store and when I got there the one in the pic was there but it was no where near $200 like he said. The only one close to what I wanted to pay was from the 1970's or so. Buyer beware, this was a classic bait and switch. His response was that someone had already come in and bought the one in the pic but it was clearly still there just with a larger price tag. This place is a giant scam. I looked at a washer/dryer online. I emailed back and forth with Larry to agree on a price. Drove all the way there to pay and pick it up. When I got there the place looked sketchy at best and against my better judgement I went inside. He would not sell me the washer/dryer combo that we agreed to at our agreed price. The one I wanted he said he would only sell for 150 dollars more than our agreed price. He tried to sell me an old crappy washer/dryer for the price I was willing to pay. He also lied to my face about the age of the washer and dryer. I would not go back to that place if he gave me a washer/dryer for free. It was a huge waste of time and energy. read more

this is the worst place to go it smells and the machines are over priced for what they are trying to sell the workers after being paid are rude and unprofessional they dint come with the right equipment to do the job and ask for your help keep in mind you pay for delivery I had the washer and dryer for 1 month before they had to come out and fix it. i brought the machine on 3-31-12 and was not charged until 07-02-12 they knew ahead of time the machine was broke and did not inform the buyers. please stay away from this place go to home depot or Lowe's. read more
