The seller, my son, and I worked maybe 2 hours trying to lift the safe using ramps, a dolly, and a motorcycle jack to get it on my trailer, to haul back to Newport News. The seller had to leave for another appointment. After maybe 30 minutes more in the sweltering heat, my son and I decided to call a tow truck company to lift it onto my trailer. Midnight towing was the third or fourth company I called. The first few didn't have a driver available, or didn't have a truck with an old fashion crane on it. After maybe another 20 minutes Wilson came with his flat bed wrecker. I told him right away I'd requested a crane. He replied "We'll make it work one way or another". Sure enough with his air jack he raised it high enough to get on the corner of his flatbed, and set it the trailer. He then nudged it forward of the axle, centered on the trailer. I was expecting to pay $150, but he said $125 would do. He really knows his equipment capabilities. I'd highly recommend him to tow your car, or to deliver a safe for you. My 22 year old daughter was on her way back to North Carolina late one Saturday night when all the warning lights on her dashboard came on and her car broke down in St. Petersburg VA. She didn't know anything about cars nor did she have anyone local to call. My wife and I live in NY and searched the internet for a towing company, saw some good reviews associated with Midnight Towing, and decided to give them a call which turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Right from the start, Wilson put our minds at ease. He gave us an overview of the area, including hotels, car rentals, and potential auto shops [we went with Master Transmissions who fixed the car in 2 days at a very, very reasonable price but that's a different story]. When Wilson picked up the car, he also let my daughter ride along to drop off the car at the auto shop so she would know where it was being fixed and also drove her to the car rental -- the service was simply amazing and Wilson was so kind. VIOLATIONS I PERSONALLY EXPERIENCED: 1. CASH ONLY POLICY -- Illegal under Virginia Code § 46.2-118. They are REQUIRED by law to accept credit cards, certified checks, and money orders. The owner confirmed this policy directly to me by phone. 2. ILLEGAL STORAGE FEES -- They attempted to charge $120 in storage fees before 24 hours had elapsed. Virginia Code § 46.2-1233.1 explicitly prohibits any storage charge before 24 hours. The vehicles were picked up when the lot was already closed, and I arrived before 24 hours was up -- meaning their storage charge was $0 legally. 3. UNDISCLOSED STORAGE LOCATION -- They refused to tell us where our property was being stored, which is illegal under Virginia law. 4. DENIED PROPERTY DURING BUSINESS HOURS -- The owner arrived during business hours ready to pay. They were turned away with an illegal cash demand, and when he returned they claimed to be closed. 5. THREATENING BEHAVIOR -- When I came to retrieve my children's bikes an employee physically intimidated me and another made threatening gestures suggesting he was armed. City Council had to intervene to get our children's bikes released -- and even after that intervention Marbry's still refused to release the property. IF THIS HAS HAPPENED TO YOU: File a complaint with the Virginia Attorney General Consumer Protection Section at 1-800-552-9963. This is free and takes minutes. The VCPA allows you to recover damages plus potentially triple the amount you were illegally charged if the violation was willful -- and the owner confirmed these policies personally, making them willful violations. I have documented evidence including timestamped call logs, witness statements, and recorded timelines. I have filed complaints with the Virginia DMV, the Attorney General's Consumer Protection office, and the City Attorney. This company is counting on people not knowing their rights. Now you do.

Go towards 95S without using any turn signals, cut across 2 more lanes of traffic to get to the South bound. Pretty sure tow truck driver should be more cautious about their driving.
