I wasn't feeling particularly anxious, but I was told it was free, so I agreed. I was quickly given paperwork to sign, which I did willingly, though I should have taken more time to read it. What was not explained to me verbally was that this involved an injection in my neck. When I realized that, I froze but went along with it. After the injection, I was told the doctor is writing a paper on this procedure and was then asked whether it helped my anxiety, which immediately made me uncomfortable and made me feel like a test subject rather than a patient. Later, when reviewing the consent, I saw listed risks such as temporary phrenic nerve blockage and infection, risks that were never clearly explained beforehand. Instead, it was described very casually as "feeling like having a mimosa." When I called with concerns, the staff were kind and understanding, but I was told I would know if something went wrong because I'd have extreme difficulty breathing. I wish that risk had been communicated before the procedure, not AFTER. The staff were friendly overall and there were no complications, but the lack of transparency and how casually this was presented felt unethical to me as a patient. While I did sign the paperwork and take responsibility for that, clearer verbal communication and informed consent would have made a huge difference.

I was a new patient (and from out of the area) and therefore I expected the typical routine of having to go through a full examine, consultation, x-rays, etc. This is what usually causes me to 'put-off' going to the Dentist. I had a small need/concern with my tooth and Robert Hodous took me right in, addressed and fixed the problem. He said i needed to get all my wisdom teeth out and that would help, then said it was actually a debonded filling, then gun soreness. Please note I only went here due to it being close and me having car issues. He the starts poking the tooth, which made me horribly nauseous to the point I had to leave. I went to my regular dentist who shows me a picture of a completely broken tooth in my mouth where the pain was. They said they weren't sure how he missed it but now it's more broken and needs a crown. They are sending me random bills and still trying to schedule me for thousands worth of issues my regular dentist said arent necessary. Also worth noting if you look closely, most of the people who leave reviews for this place have no photos and it's their first review. Stay far far away.

They had an opening later that afternoon. I was not only provided excellent, friendly, and accommodating routine service, but they also removed a root fragment from an incomplete extraction done a couple of years ago in another town. Despite being a very busy day, everyone in the front office, hygienists, X-ray techs, and dental assistants were wonderful. It was my first time meeting Dr. Sobieralski was amazing. My friend had to beg for them to finish, to only be thrown out afterwards, unable to use the location for vehicle pickup. He is legally blind and must have others provide a ride. Because of this he had to walk down a busy freeway to find a suitable location to arrange pickup. Given this is their second location, and the prior had 7 one star reviews out of their 16 before closing, its apparent this is a pattern. Reading other reviews, it shows they have had other individuals with disabilities and issues with poor pain management. DO NOT GO HERE.
