I highly, HIGHLY recommend Dr. Morrill! I receive many compliments on my smile and for that I can thank Dr. Morrill's meticulous work. Each day, I see my straightened teeth, and I remember how grateful I am for the work done by Dr. Morrill when I was in grade school. Larry is naturally empathic with kids.. he listened to all of this anxious 5th Grader's questions and spoke with me at length about my fears. My wife has been helped by Dr. Morrill over the past few years. Her experience has been so positive that I am writing this review to give credit. During her first visit Dr. Morrill suggested that he document the current state of her potential orthodontic needs and then wait a year to see if intervention was warranted. He didn't seem at all interested in signing her up for some long and expensive course of therapy. His office staff made a note to call my wife in a year to remind her. After that year, my wife did receive the call and made an appointment to see Dr. Morrill. At that time he made an assessment and suggested that she would benefit from therapy. The plan was for her to wear an orthopedic appliance at night and to have it periodically adjusted to bring her teeth into alignment. There was a one time cost of $600 for this and it was offered that my wife could make $200 monthly payments, which she did. Over roughly the past three years or so my wife has had approximately 20 visits for adjustments to the appliance. This has slowly corrected the misalignment that she had. There were no additional payments requested over this time. To summarize, Dr. Morrill accurately diagnosed and resolved the issues my wife had with misalignment of her teeth. His approach was measured and applied only after careful observation. Working with Dr. Morrill and his staff has been very easy. His staff is supportive, friendly, and upbeat. Appointments are not a source of anxiety for my wife. She says it could more easily be described as a short visit with friends. read more

Saw Dr. Morrill and was very happy I found him. I had initial consultations with several other orthodontists and most of them would not tell me what I needed done unless I took x-rays and came in for further check-ups. I imagined they wanted to squeeze a few bucks out of me even if I wasn't going to get treatment from them. Dr. Morrill was friendly, patient, and honest. He carefully explained to me what I needed based on his experience. Overall, it felt like stepping back in time, when doctors and dentists weren't in such a hurry to usher you through your visit. For this much care and attention, I was surprised to find that the consultation cost me only 1/3 of what the other orthodontists I saw had charged. As for the treatment plan, his price was also the lowest. Don't know how he does it, but he's awesome, and so is his staff. read more

I don't think you could find a more caring and dedicated orthodontist anywhere. He always goes the extra mile to make sure you understand what you are about to undertake and then is there for you every inch of the way for the whole process. He not only treated my daughter years ago, but now is treating two of our grandchildren. He relates well to adults and children, treating them with respect and kindness. I saw Dr. Morrill years ago when I was a student and broke my retainers. His staff were really kind and patient! They helped me with getting a new mold and replacement retainers They were very understanding of my situation and his only charged me the at cost price materials for the mold and not the visit. When I later visited my original orthodontist back home, he commented on how well made and a remarkably low price for the replacement. Highly recommend him to anyone! read more

There are not enough stars to give Dr. Morrill the rating that he deserves! We were referred to him by our dentist nearly 30 years ago when my (now) husband wanted to perfect his smile at the age of 29. My husband's teeth looked very good to me before, but with a bit of tinkering, were absolutely "Colgate smile" perfect, and the price very reasonable. After seeing the results he had achieved with my husband, I went for a consult, as my teeth are very far from perfect. Dr. Morrill was totally up front and transparent about what it would take to improve them. In summary, 3 or 4 pulled teeth, a headgear for 3+ years, braces for 5+ years, and $5k. I decided to live with the genetic cards I was dealt, and do nothing. Then we had children, the eldest of whom unfortunately inherited all my orthodontic issues plus added some of her own. At the age of 8 or so, her front teeth were protruding badly (a problem I actually don't have), she had a severe overbite, AND she was congenitally missing 3 teeth. Dr. Morrill told us up front that she would require two sets of braces, and 1-3 implants to compensate for the missing teeth. Sigh. Dr. Morrill's prices was very reasonable, compared to what I have heard from people whose children are being treated by other orthos. Because her teeth were already having a huge cosmetic impact, we began treatment immediately. She had her first set of braces from age 8-13, and had a retainer for some time before starting Stage 2. Also, she required gum surgery to allow some of her molars to actually "come in." Stage 2 lasted another 4 1/2 years. Her second set of braces came off when she was 18 1/2. By moving other teeth, Dr. Morrill managed to compensate for 2 of the 3 congenitally missing teeth, saving us $15-20K. Throughout stage 2 of her treatment, Dr. Morrill kept in close contact with the oral surgeon who would be doing the implant in order to ensure that the "space" for the implant was exactly the right size, and that the roots of the surrounding teeth were corrected to the most optimal angle. Her final set of braces were removed about 9 months ago. In August, she had the implant surgery. It was very challenging because she lacked sufficient bone to attach the implant apparatus, but the bone grafted successfully, and she had her new "tooth" attached in late January. To look at her smile today, you would never have a clue that she had been born with less than perfect teeth. It is literally a miracle if you compared how horrible her teeth were before orthodontia vs what they look like today. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Morrill for the results he attained. He is also in Round 2 with our son, who inherited a slightly better smile, and the results so far have been terrific. I expect that he will also have a "Colgate smile" as well when his orthodontia is complete. A few things to be aware of: 1. Dr. Morrill is very "old school", and (as far as I know) does not do Invisalign; he does traditional "railroad track" braces. 2. His office is also very "old school". I think he may now have a computer system in his office, but this is a very new development. 3. His prices are much lower than most, and he accepts monthly payments with a very small and reasonable discount if you pay cash up front. Haha! 4. He is a PERFECTIONIST, and you/your child will be wearing those braces until Dr. Morrill is 100% satisfied with the tooth placement and alignment. We all want quick fixes, but if this is high on your priority list, (say, for example, for Senior pictures) he is NOT the right person for you. 5. His office staff is very professional and accommodating. I cannot tell you how many appointments we have had to reschedule at the last minute, or forgotten about. His office staff does not nickel and dime you to death, which I appreciate very much. 6. He is a very kind man without being at all fake and gushy. He loves what he does, and it shows. He is not out to make a quick buck; he is there to help you or your child. There are no words to express how grateful I am for the absolute magic he did with my daughter's mouth, and how highly I recommend him. Though my son has much fewer orthodontic issues than my daughter, he is getting just as much time and attention paid to maximizing his smile as she did. read more

Dr. Morrill is the BEST! I was born with perfectly straight teeth. When I turned forty my bottom teeth started to overlap. I visited several different Doctors. Some wanted to charge me as much as five thousand to seven thousand dollars to have full braces put on and the treatment would last several years. Then I met my savor Dr. Morrill. His bed side manner is wonderful. He is kind and conservative. He said that he could fix the problem with retainers that I would have to wear full time for only six months then after that I would only wear them at night. The total charge for a life time of treatment cost me only eight hundred dollars. My teeth are perfect again and I still see Dr. Morrill every six months or so for follow up visits. Going to see him is like visiting an old friend. My daughter is now being treated by Dr. Morrill and she couldn't be any happier then I am. He is wonderful! I would recommend him to anyone. And an extra bonus is that all of his staff are just as great as he is. read more
