Canned sodas, water, alcoholic beverages available. Pizza has 4 sizes, specials and make your own. Sandwiches, salads. I chose the goat cheese and herb pizza and it was sooooo good. Chewy yet crunchy, the crust is perfection. Takes 20-30 minutes when not just. Worth the wait. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.

I had a five hour layover between Amtrak journeys (Southwest Chief and California Zephyr) so wanted to have best possible nosh in this Abraham-Lincoln-Slept-Here town within walking distance from the train depot. Thanks to Google Maps, Baked Pizza was top on the list. Sadly, they are closed on Sundays - my scheduled stop in Galesburg. So, I went to another local pizza place. That was an unfortunate disappointment. But, say hallelujah!, my return trip was on a Wednesday, so Baked Pizza was my highest priority. And color me grateful to Google Maps! Fortunately, I found this little hole-in-the-wall without difficulty. I entered into a brick sided wonderland. It must have been a white rabbit that led me there. I could not believe my otherworldly experience. I was greeted by the most cordial of greeter, Estefania. She was ever so patient and accommodating with my hearing disability. Baked Pizza was off to a great start! I took my time deciding which of the Lewis Carroll's fantasy pizzas to choose while I sipped their Two Hearted IPA. The Herbs and Goat Cheese was the winner. And what a winner it is! Dominated by basil, the herbs are fresh and wonderful. The mozzarella are geniusly complimented by the gentle goat cheese. And the herbs! Youd think that you were in Provence! Finally, and not at all leastly, the garlic oil is a finishing touch without equal. I admit that I dismissed the garlic oil as an advertising gimmick. Nay, I say! This seemingly add-on is essential. It is a must for the definive crispy crust! IMO, there is no equal. So, the next time you're within 500 mile if Galesburg Illinois, try Baked Pizza. Nothing in Central Illinois compares to Chicago pizza........we've accepted that. Alfano's other pizzas, crusts, are just mediocre. We've also started to order the breadsticks, tho they could use more flavor like an "Aurelio's Pizza" breadsticks. I prefer a creamy garlic salad dressing for dipping the breadsticks. Alfano's does not serve one and all I could find in Central Illinois grocery stores that came close was a Wishbone creamy Italian. We've given up on the garlic bread, just too dried out, brittle and they won't add extra butter or garlic. Found out that their garlic bread is pre-made, then frozen, then thawed.........which explains the dissatisfaction. Yet, most of their other ingredients on their other food/pizzas, seem very fresh. All that said, it's nice that they deliver to the lake at Oak Run, $8 delivery charge and then we tip $5 on top of that. They've delivered in all weather, very much appreciated. And finally, everyone working there has always been very kind and efficient. We've never eaten at the restaurant itself. They've never messed up our credit card bill or gotten our order wrong. We're lucky they're there and that they will deliver.
