Jeff is seriously awesome! I am a wedding planner based in San Jose, so at the time I wasn't too familiar with the vendors out there. My bride really wanted that twinkly vibe that come from bistro lights. I was calling pretty much every single event rental vendor out there in Sacramento and the surrounding cities that are within a 50 mile radius, all for bistro lights. Out here in the Bay Area, we are so spoiled with the amount of vendors that we have here. You can probably imagine how frustrated I was trying to find a vendor out in Elk Grove. I searched high and low for a rental company. It was getting to the point where I was just going to have my client pay for a vendor from the Bay Area to make the drive up to Elk Grove just for lights. Since that was going to be too expensive, I was already considering pulling the plug (pun definitely intended) on the bistro lights and trying to come up with an explanation as to why I wasn't able to fulfill my clients twinkly, romantic vision for her wedding reception. I really prayed for an amazing vendor before I searched again on Yelp. Then, ba da bing! Larcom's lighting! I emailed immediately. Jeff is not only professional, but seriously the most friendly vendor I have ever worked with. It's like there's a light in him (metaphorically speaking) that's contagious and welcoming. Now fast forward to the day of the wedding. Jeff was setting up the bistro lights inside the venue (The Falls Event Center) for the dance floor with I'm assuming was his wife? Anyways, they both did a fabulous job! Couldn't get the lights to cross in the middle like an X due to having to weigh it down on hardwood floors without damaging the floors. He let me know immediately that it was doable, but it would sink down in the middle. I'm all for safety, so the lights just had to surround the perimeter of the dance floor. I recently had the opportunity to work with Jeff on a photo shoot at a new wedding venue out in Plymouth. I had a great experience working with him, and he did a great job. He set up market lights over an open courtyard, as well as set up uplights in our cocktail lounge area. Jeff did an AMAZING job for my wedding. We had him put up globe string lights for our backyard wedding due to low lighting in the evening, and we couldn't have been happier. Jeff was very professional and friendly through the whole process, met with us around our hectic schedule, provided clear quotes and diagrams of how things would look, and changed things around for us to get the look we wanted all the way up to the day he set up!
