I decided to give it a try and was very happy with the outcome. Not only did the price seem fair, but the people are extremely friendly. A little while later, I had a problem with my remote starter freezing up my car and thought I would have to get my car towed as I was unable to start it. I called only to ask if it was okay to have it dropped off there, fully assuming I would be paying big bucks for this. Instead, Jason walked me through the process so I could start it myself. It was a simple fix, but he stayed on the phone with me the full ten minutes that it took to restart. My most recent visit was scary. My car was making a loud rumble and I knew there was an actual problem. I took it in and Jason came out with me to check it out. Oil was spraying everywhere under the good and he let me know immediately that my engine may not be salvageable. I prepared myself for a bill in the thousands IF he was even able to fix it. He called today and let me know that I was very lucky and that it was something to do with an oil seal thingy and that the engine was okay. (For now.) I know nothing about cars, but I do know that this is a very honest business and that I do not need to worry when I take my car to them. It is truly in good hands.

Paul just hit the casting with a hammer and chisel and low and behold it broke, and he has the audacity to say I brought a weak part. It is cast steel, of course its weak, I even brought the shop manual, which he threw to the side, then broke it. I went outside to vent and came back in 2 minutes later and guess what, he's reading the manual. Maybe that should have been reviewed first? Then he says that I need to source out and purchase a replacement and he will do the work for free. Why would I go buy an extremely hard to find part and bring it back there for him to break again? One would assume that if you had a specialty shop you would have some specialized skill to do quality work. I'm assuming the only reason this shop is still in business is because no one else has a diff shop in the city, because anyone with some trade experience could make this place look like pretty foolish, even a first level apprentice knows that if they're not sure what to do, research it!

I don't know if you'd run into many honest car repair shops like that these days. Also, this is the most modern looking waiting area I've ever seen. I didn't find the usual dusty auto repair shop here. Everything looks to be organized by computer and they even offered to e-mail me a receipt! I was helped by a a really nice guy. If I actually lived in Winnipeg, I'd definitely have Keystone do all my auto repair work just based on the honesty and how clean their whole auto shop looked; but since I was just passing through as a traveler, I'll just have to make do with my local repairman in my hometown (who I don't think is as honest!)

Very disappointed. Dropped it off first thing in the morning for a safety. Next morning they call to inform me they can't do the job. Turns out they were totally able to do the job. Took me a couple phone calls to get them do the job. Then the shop couldn't clarify what parts failed. And most important, they missed the failed strut.
