I've not had great experiences with this facility. The office staff has less than stellar customer…read moreservice over the phone and in person. I would describe their demeanor as surly even. When I had my files transferred from my previous out of state doctor, they claimed the files were never received - yet my previous doctor sent them twice. Finally, I had to coordinate between previous doctor and this office to tell them as the files were being faxed over. Absolutely ridiculous. After the files were finally sent over, I was sent for additional testing by the physician to another local doctor. 3 days ago, this other doctor sent over the testing results and I am being told YET again they have not received the files. I can understand how sure, maybe the first time from my out of state doctor the files got lost or maybe they didn't get sent when they said...but now it's TWO doctors and they've not received files that have been said they were sent. Inept! Dude, I am just trying to get a medically necessarily prescription refilled.

It took us a considerable time to find a practice that we could feel confident in. We found it at Primary Healthcare Associates. Dr. Popovich has been wonderful in taking charge of our health care needs and has referred us to excellent specialists when we required them. We feel connected, cared for, and love being able to access our test results on the My Chart internet site. The staff is wonderful. The nurses and the Physicians Assistant kind and very capable. This is a great place.

8/9/2025 chester Emergency room I have Ehlers Danlos…read moreSyndrome. I came in at 1am in extreme pain. They gave me Toradol and a muscle relaxer. The pain was still not controlled, and when I told the dr I was still in pain he started treating me like a drug seeker "we will not be giving you opioids tonight." Then when I got tired of his smart aleck attitude I asked him if he treated everyone this way. He just kept repeating "do you have any other questions?" Over and over. Then I'd ask him one and he would ask me "do you have any other questions?" I asked him why was he talking to me like a robot. I Then asked to speak to a patient advocate because I knew he was stereotyping me and refusing to treat my pain in an appropriate way. With a smirk on his face he said "it's the middle of the night on a Friday, no one's here but me." Then he walked out. His name was Dr (I use that title loosely) Jeffrey Mason. I will be contacting a patient advocate on Monday and reporting the way he degraded me. The charge nurse and all the other nurses there advocated for me but he wouldn't budge. It was weird. They saw the pain I was in. All he saw was what he wanted to see. People like HIM should not be Dr's.

I see Dr Richard jackson or his nurse practitioner Sheeba Both are wonderful in what they do…read more. however its the people they hire to answer the phones set up appointments ect that are absolutly horrific. usually a angry african American woman sorry to say cause i am a african american man myself but the most recent experience was today I called this morning May 4 2026 at around 9am and explained desperately to the young lady that i needed my refills. and that i know im supposed to come in to be seen but i work mornings to 6pm not only did she flat out refuse to help me at all but when i finally agreed to make a appointment asking her if she could give me the soonest she had, she then lied and said they were booked up for the next two weeks both people.LOL now i know she is lying because of the amount of time i have been seeing Dr jackson his practitioner usually always have a opening soon. Just like i thought i checked the website and there were appointments as soon as the next day. Not only that but i then called back and got a male on the phone who immediately set me up for a even earlier appointment. its sad in mty opinion dominion needs to screen there calls behind there employees to see the treatment paitients recieve.

Service: I arrived 5 minutes before my 10AM appointment and then wait 30 minutes after my…read moreappointment time. The medical assistant took my vitals and had me wait for the provider. The provider had a misunderstanding with my health status, medications, and lab work, and it took 15 minutes later that the provider could understand and ordered the current medications for me. I will add that I had certain diagnostic tests performed in-house back in September. I asked for a copy of the result many times and if it would be uploaded to the patient portal (Follow My Health), which they said it would be. Now, halfway into December, I still have not received a copy of the results. Additionally, reaching a person when I call takes a minimum of 15 minutes clicking through the options and sometimes getting hung up on once I do reach someone. Value: Once in clinic, the flow is pretty standard compared to other clinics that I have attended, for better or worse. The longest wait was an hour to see the provider, but it helps scheduling earlier in the day. I appreciated having the opportunity to have lab work and other tests done in-house during the visit. They are conveniently located but the inefficiencies, such as long waits in-house and on the phone, lack of online scheduling and communications, could be improved.
