Classes that should be there are left off and instructors that left years ago and will not be teaching are still listed. Opt-out does not work after a year of trying to get help through every avenue possible. Emeritus students get dumped 4 times a semester for non-payment when their classes are supposed to be free. The employees are wonderful, but they are not trained and nothing ever gets fixed. Implementing Workday has been a complete disaster and has done nothing but cause problems for everyone. Students will spend hours on the online queue only to get dumped without being helped. Going on campus for services takes hours and one will be shuffled endlessly from one department to another as no one knows how to do anything. Communication is absolutely terrible across the board. Dirty professors like Dr. Andrew Evangelista will put students into dozens of hours that will not transfer, but will exhaust financial aid and may land students in out of state tuition upon transfer. Despite numerous complaints nothing is done to stop rogue professors like him. He was a temporary Music Department Chair and now has been named a permanent one. He added junior level classes that can never transfer and has expanded the music program into complete collapse. Who wants to sing in a choir of 7? Dallas College is a disorganized and chaotic mess. When will the administration and the board start listening to students, paying parents, taxpayers and graduates of the program and making the desperately needed changes?

A lot of the male teachers cater to females so if your a dude just find a female friend and ask her to ask the teacher questions pertaining to homework that way you will get an accurate answer. The building is in good shape due to they moved so no cleanliness issues at all and for a non major university the library is well equipped with Internet, fax machines, etc that you will need. Recommendation for any student going here is to make the best out of it! Stay on the financial aid asses until they resolve your issue! Check behind them and stay informed on what credits you need so your not surprised about ANYTHING! keep track of all your paper work cause your probably gonna need it down the line! Unfortunately, the administration is not very helpful, either. There was never anyone at the front desk to speak to. We would get calls for absences for classes we weren't enrolled in, get charged for items we didn't receive, etc. I am still trying to get a correct invoice months after we cancelled our membership. The Office of Disability Access (ODA) is a department on campus that assists UNT students with…read moredisabilities. They offer a wide range of accommodations like note taking or priority seating as well as excused absences and extra time on tests, to name a few. You will be assigned a representative who will work with you until you graduate. The ODA staff is always compassionate, always available to help, because they truly understand how difficult it can be. If you have an Eagle that needs accommodations, I highly recommend that you get started early, way before the semester begins, because it can take a while to process your paperwork. ODA might come back and ask for additional information or documentation. This could hold you up, and they will not give you accommodations until you are fully processed.
