We stopped into this fish & chips restaurant earlier today and the food on the server trays looked appealing. About three hours later, we returned and they were busy but immediately seated. They do offer outside patio seating although tonight it was awfully cold and breezy so it was empty.
The server, Imogen, was friendy and took our fish & chips order quickly. Literally within ten minutes the two platters of food were on the table.
Noticed the manager checking all the tables and assisting the busy staff. Everything appeared to be running smoothly. Its great to this this type of supervision in the food industry.
I tore apart the fluffy white Haddock fish. Then I poured the Proper Edinburgh Dipping Sauce onto a portion of my flaky golden crust and bit in. The Haddock was sweet and plump - just amazing. Sadly, they ran out of the fried Mars Bars for dessert, but we still left comfortably full. read more
