Not one of those huge companies where you're a number. Just a talented group of amazingly hard working guys who get the work done in less time than you thought possible, at a price that will undercut anyone but family members who have chainsaws and assure you the tree won't fall on the part of your house that it will eventually end up falling on. Don't hunt elsewhere. These are your guys. I've had them in twice, and recommended them to a bunch of people. Call them. Trust them. And rest easy that you're hiring the best at the best price.

I must have called this place at least every other day for 2 weeks straight and never had 1 voice mail message returned. If that's how they operate at this place then I don't want to give them my business anyway. Even if you're super busy, how long does it take to return a call and tell me that?! Just for shits and giggles, I called them right after writing this review just for further validation and sure enough the call goes straight to voicemail!

We hired Dean's Lawn and Landscaping to do a project in our backyard. It consisted of covering a…read moreconcrete patio with pavers, enlarging the patio area and adding stone steps from our back door. In addition we added trees and plants where there was only grass. To finish the project they added brick edging all around the area including the side and front of our property. It was a big job and Dean's crew came through for us. They worked extremely hard in not so comfortable conditions. Dean himself came out to check the progress several times during the 2 week process. I have to say that I am more than pleased with the job that was done. I truly love, love, love my backyard now. I would recommend Dean's Lawn and Landscaping to anyone looking to improve their outdoor space.

On occasion, yet quite seldom, I'll review those who are exceptional on either the best end of the…read morespectrum or those to be avoided. In this case, I've come across something quite rare. I've longed for years to be an in-ground pool owner despite being a city-dweller. Water makes me happy. When COVID hit, the market got flooded with all sorts of hybrid pools and hot tubs called swim spas, and other manufacturers grew the market with urban pools made of modular units that builders use now for houses and pools. Good luck finding installers, someone to get permits from the city, and year-round servicing for many of these newfangled contraptions. Yet, if you still wanted a traditional in-ground pool, finding a contractor that provides soup-to-nuts design, installation, and permitting that does work in the city of Chicago without charging a major mark-up was nowhere to be found. If you've always dreamt of turning your urban backyard into a peaceful oasis for family and friends to gather, give these folks a call. You won't be disappointed. Promise!
