Then after a few delays, in late August, Tammy Solberg his employee communicated that the job required more man power and they could not do the job for the price proposed. They asked if we wanted them to requote. We didn't want to pay more so I asked for our large deposit back ($1500+). Since then he will not return calls or emails, nor will Tammy Solberg his employee. Hired this landscaper several years ago. Nothing was done right and he got very angry with me when…read moreI would point out things. The patio was a mess (not properly prepared) and we ended up with bricks shifting and weeds growing everywhere up through the cracks. The drainage was poor and left a smell on one side of the house because it didn't drain properly. The yard was sodded with weed infested sod (weeds I had never even seen before) which he did say he would replace because where he got it from the person was willing to replace it. It never happened. The small planter retaining wall needed redoing because the bricks were an inch apart in many places. He had dirt touching stones with no partition so every time it rained the dirt flushed down on the stones along the side of the house. Pretty soon that was full of weeds. The landscape fabric underneath hadn't even been installed properly but with dirt now covering the stones it really didn't matter. The list goes on. A very expensive mistake was made when hiring him. Lots of lies were told. Over the last 3 years we have had all the mistakes fixed (slowly due to budget).
