I would just like to tell you about the positive experience I had with the whole process. I had carpeting put on my stairs. Cris arrived at my house initially. He was very pleasant and well prepared with carpet samples. He answered any questions I had. And also helped me with my decision regarding grade, style and colour. He maintained good communication with me. I was at work when the installer worked here. But my Mother was here, she said he was a very nice man. When I finally came home, I couldn't believe it. The stairs were beautifully done, they looked completely different from the tattered wooded stairs that were there. And even walking on the stairs feels so much better than it ever did. There are no more creaking noises and much more comfortable to walk on. Everyone who has seen the new stairs, loves them. They really add beauty and value to my home. The installer didn't know what he was doing and really messed it up. So much so that I wouldn't let him back in the house on the second day. At that point only half the tile was down. (no grout yet) The owner Tara said he would make it all right so he brought in another installer to continur the install. Tile spacing was all irregular and should have been lifted and fixed ... however the owner (Tara) proceded to grout and make it look even worse. This company dosn't stand behind the installations and really ignors you once you have paid the bill. If you plan to buy anything from this company.... I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU DON'T.

The carpet that was delivered was the wrong colour (apparently it had been mislabeled) but discovered only after the old carpet had been ripped out and we had to endure 2+ weeks of bare floors and exposed tack strips. We had to change family plans waiting for the right carpet to be shipped in. There was no contact from management because of the screw-up, or an offer of a discount for our inconvenience. The installers were good. Happy with the end result but not a great experience.

We Stand corrected! He was none of these things and left us high and dry, to have to replace our brand new kitchen faucet and hire a plumber to fix all the damage he did in our house and we'll have to do a warranty through Home Depot to repair our leaky shower! We should have known after he had to cancel and reschedule on the very first day he was to start the work here! His excuse seemed legitimate. However, this was one of many times he had to cancel, reschedule or did not return our messages for days and even a week. He installed our brand new kitchen tap with the faucet upside down, and when he went to tighten it after the third time he dropped the set screw pins down the drain. Now we haven't heard for him for 3 weeks and have had to hire a plumber and had to go out and purchase a new faucet as this one could not be tightened without the specific set screw pins. Our shower which he installed in our upstairs bathroom is leaking water on the floor. Thank goodness we can go through Home Depot for warranty for this. The other items that he attempted to repair, were just that, attempts as he apparently did not know what he was doing, and every time he went to fix something there was a new problem that needed to be fixed! Our plumber that we hired also had to fix those problems! It was a comedy of errors, and Matthew just left us high and dry with all of these things that he broke and just abandoned the job, and did not return any of our messages or calls! (AFTER BEING PAID IN FULL)!! I don't normally like to post bad reviews like this but be forewarned if you hire this man expect him to be late, cancel, install things improperly, break things as he's trying to fix them and then leave you high and dry to fix them on your own! We couldn't have been more disappointed, and we tried our best to be accommodating and understanding after every mishap he had! After everything was said and done from paying for the shower install, to labor and parts and then having to replace the kitchen faucet as well as hiring a plumber it was in excess of $1,500.

I confronted them about it and they offered to move temporarily when it was already too late as the person driving me already got my wheelchair out meaning I had to wheel down the street. I heard them laughing at me and mocking my justified annoyance when I'm literally trying to get home from medical stuff as I wheeled off, which is why I'm even more disgusted. I'm in a wheelchair and this is how they treat disabled people. Idiot in charge claimed they are allowed to obstruct "as long as we are doing construction" funny because city law says 15 minutes maximum. Writing this they have been there 30 minutes and counting now since they are STILL there. Hope they get a nice parking ticket. If you want someone who has zero respect for disabled people openly laughing at the fact they caused me to struggle hire them. If you want someone who is a decent human behind it? Hire someone else. That attitude? They should be paying people to put up with them not being paid.
