For example, in our herb garden, they successfully weeded and mulched the garden, keeping the dozen herb plants in perfect condition. In other words, not mistaking tarragon for a weed. LOL.

My brother and I live out of state. Our mother is disabled, but lives in Lafayette. My brother…read moreand I came to town in February and did some work on my mom's house. We contacted Joel and described to him that our mother's yard was in severe need of landscaping. He came, looked at the job, met with my brother and I and agreed to come back later that week with some help. Later that week he dropped off a very nice girl, but she definitely was not accustomed to doing yard work. She was there for 3 hours lopping baby trees down, hauling branches, raking the yard, etc. then Joel came and cut the grass. When he was done we talked about some of the trees that were dead or close to the house that needed to be cut down. He said he couldn't do it all that day, and he'd have to work around his off-shore work schedule, but that he'd be back to finish the trees and that he would cut my mom's grass every two weeks when he was back onshore. We asked him how much would it be for the work he had done so far plus cutting down two trees and hauling them away. He gave us a price and we paid him right then and there with the promise he'd come back and cut down the trees. A few weeks went by and he didn't go back. My brother and I took turns calling him and he kept promising he would go back. Again, my mother is disabled and we live out of state so we were trusting that Joel would follow through - especially since we PAID him to do the work before we left Lafayette to go back to where we live. About two months later, Joel finally went back after several phone calls from my brother and myself. However, I was back in Lafayette visiting my mom in May and I noticed that he did not cut the trees down completely and he left what he did cut down. SO my poor mother has pieces of dead wood all over her yard. Attempts to contact Joel again to see if he would come dispose of the wood have been unanswered, and he never cut her grass after that first time so we had to finally find someone else to cut her grass that we pay via check in the mail every two weeks. I was looking for a trustworthy person. Someone who I felt confident would do what they were paid to do and do the right thing. That is not Joel Dupre.
