*******WARNING*******DO NOT USE DAVIS FENCING LA*********
I hired Mr Davis to install my fence on March 23rd 2020. Since day 1 of the install we have had problems. When Mr. Davis came by to quote my project, I asked very specific questions on what his process was. His answers were very professional and seemed to match the years of experience he claimed to have. I also went to look at the fence his crew was installing at another house and it looked nothing of the quality that we have received. The quality issues and safety hazards from the fence are honestly the worst I've seen. The biggest problem that I have is the safety of my child, my neighbors children and all of our pets. The amount of sharp nails protruding through the opposing sides is extremely dangerous. With a combination of the above, the issues from day 1 till now and the new ones that will continue to arise over time, Mr Davis did come out only once to fix some of the issues but the more I inspect the more I find. At this time Mr. Davis has ignored my recent requests, text messages and phone calls. I sent him a very detailed message stating everything in full detail along with pics to show the problems.
Here is the full list of issues from day 1 till now.
Gate on left side of fence was installed too narrow than originally requested.
Due to the above a gate was added to the right side at no charge
Gates were not framed separately like requested. Instead fence was put up with no gate, hardware was attached then cut behind hinges
Due to the above way of gate installation and have no support at the hinges both gates have started sagging and continue to get worse. Lag bolts were bent during installation and not replaced. Hinges are loose and the patched up frame work on the right side against the house is unnecessary.
The metal clips used to install the runners are separating
Nail backing out due to not being ring shank
Loose boards due to missed nails, nails too deep causing boards to break off nails and some having 8 nails in 1 area.
The property lines are straight my fence, well it's got more waves than the Gulf of Mexico
Both corners on the opposite side had to be pieced together due to the back of the fence being almost 2ft shorter than it should
I had to replace a post that was broken your guys new screws were used to try and patch it but not acceptable for a new fence. I had it changed cost $75.
The runners aren't parallel with each other, posts aren't in line
Probably the worse of them all is the safety hazards discussed above read more
