Finally, on the third day, someone came to evaluate me for therapy. The one therapy session was good. The next session occurred while I was sound asleep in my room. The (male) therapist woke me up out of a deep sleep after lunch to take me to therapy. Told him I was a morning person and could we schedule the sessions in the the mornings. He replied, "No," I can't know when they'll occur." I had a major problem with my room. The roommate had chronic diarrhea and had to occupy the bathroom almost continually. One time I had to get off the toilet to let her use it. Finally, after two nights, I asked for a private room. I had to pay $35 per night for this. Food was O.K. After two sessions in the dining room, they closed the dining room. No explanation was given. We went back to eating in the rooms. I wouldn't recommend this place for rehab. Too haphazard.

Lauren at the Front Desk was/is ALWAYS so pleasant to greet you and accommodate whatever you needed! The majority of my sessions were managed by Ann who was/is a SUPERSTAR(!). Always patient, always knowledgeable, pushed me appropriately and advanced my progress in recuperating in a BIG way over a few weeks. She always answered my many questions and again - patient with me! Her "grace" was welcome & understood my desire to get out back to a quality of life for recreation/golf/normalcy/etc.. Very grateful for her! Also privileged to have had Brian who was awesome as well! Great demeanor, patient as well, genuine individual (plus he's from my home state of GA, ha!). As it relates to the rest of the Staff - there's so much POSITIVITY in the facility, seriously - everyone who works there seems to be a in good mood (which is very important for us as patients!) but it was in a genuine way - they are there to "help others" and you can tell they LOVE their jobs! I hope I don't need them again (Ha!) but if I do there is no other place I'll go to for recovery! Terry DeLaney

Another different test to do? Disability paperwork filled out) This man made everything so difficult for me that I would have panic attacks and not be able to open his secure message responses to questions I asked for days. Because the answer was always "no" or him doubting me or making this process of trying to get something complicated diagnosed even harder by making me argue for every single thing. Like filling out short term disability paperwork when I was going on FMLA leave. Everything was already hard and he made it harder. The most recent time, when I called to ask their office manager what to do when the doctor can't help, I got a certified letter from Dr French firing me. Dr French wants to do the basic work and then go home and not think about his job or his patients. I kind of think he wants to not think about his patients when they're in the room too. He can play like he listens and play a good doctor, but when it really matters, he'll let you down every single time.

During my recent annual physical, she briefly asked me about my asthma, which I reported was stable and even improving. She then renewed my existing prescription, and we moved on. My previous doctor never charged me for this, so I will be returning to them as a patient. I also called the office for clarification, but unfortunately Dr. Abraham has not returned my call. In summary, if you have a minor medical condition that requires an annual prescription renewal, do not seek care at Rocky Hill Family Physicians.
