I can't express enough how grateful I am for Spring Integrative Wellness and the postpartum couples…read moretherapy we received there. My partner and I were struggling a lot after the baby came, and honestly, we weren't sure how to navigate the emotional rollercoaster of parenthood together. We decided to give therapy a try, and it turned out to be exactly what we needed. From the moment we walked in, the space felt peaceful and welcoming. It's clear that Spring Integrative Wellness has thought of everything to make you feel comfortable and at ease, which is so important when you're already feeling overwhelmed. Our therapist was amazing, kind, thoughtful, and incredibly patient. We really appreciated how she listened to both of us and helped us work through some difficult conversations. It wasn't just about solving immediate problems, but about strengthening our relationship in a way that felt real and meaningful. We felt heard and supported every step of the way.

I am honestly not sure how I would have ever survived the first few weeks of my child's life…read morewithout April and Michelle. It has been an absolute godsend to have both of their help - from quickly establishing a system for organizing baby's feeding and changing activities, to coordinating at the last minute to find a bassinet, to having a seasoned hand discover and teach you about your baby's quirks and what works (or doesn't work), to giving you back a few precious hours so you can make a quick run to the groceries or get some desperately-needed sleep!! It was worth every penny. April's and Michelle's approach of providing you all of the pointers you need to figure things out along the way and teaching you to become self-sufficient in the long run was the best way for me to transition into parenthood. April also does custom-tailored newborn classes, which were very helpful (for example, breastfeeding wasn't really applicable in my situation, so we switched that topic out to focus on other relevant topics). Would highly recommend Edmonton Area Family Doulas' services for baby's first few weeks, and this is especially the case if this is your first child!

The midwives I've seen here are all wonderful and they all seems to work great together. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and your appointments are rarely late. They also run a birth centre out of the same building. Two beautiful rooms with built in jacuzzi tubs and separate oversized showers. They even make you breakfast the morning after your birth. What a place, I'd recommend this place to anyone who hates the clinical feel of OB visits and hospital births. Here you just feel at home.

I have not tried any of the other services here but I wouldn't hesitate to. Everyone I have encountered has been very professional and very friendly. I noticed that they sell supplements and various organic products but have yet to buy anything. I also really enjoy the warmth and coziness of this establishment. They offer workshops and sessions on various topics at the centre as well as other locations. Check out their facebook page for more information.
