I attended my interview, completed the application, and individually interviewed with two staffing associates. "Oh, they had the perfect job for me...I would be such a great fit..." The staffing rep even sent me a thank you card in the mail. This rep was working with the same client as another staffing agent I had interviewed with. I attended an interview with this client and had a great interview; however, I feel that because the client was working with both staffing agencies, my possible employment with this client has been jeopardized due to the conflict of interest. The A-1 Careers rep will not return my calls or respond to emails regarding follow up. It appears all staffing agencies have the lack of dedication to their applicants. This entire process is a joke. The staffing agency is always so eager to bring in the applicant, make the applicant complete the application and interviewing process, complete the necessary tests, and never call again. Don't they work on commission and bonuses? I am very qualified for all the positions I have applied for. They do not consistently work for their current applicant. They continue to post jobs on the job boards and continually bring in new applicants for the same process, week after week.
