When school is in session they have the kids announcing the morning announcements to YELL - once again, completely ignorant of the fact they have neighbors. I've tried to call about turning the bell system off and the lady that answered was completely rude and ignored me. I have no other way to request they be respectful of their neighbors!!

He knows friends from different grades. He would not want to go to a different school. Parents are very caring and supportive of the school and the students. Some parents put more effort and find joy in serving the students and the school as a whole. The Dominican sisters at this school are very passionate about the school spirit. I admire their energy and the parents who have been supporting the school. I can trust the sisters to provide religious education to my child. I appreciate all the parents' work fundraising for the school projects and the school staff for keeping the environment safe and caring for the students.

Education is alright, could be better. Most students there are overly sensitive. Example, complaining to staff and throwing trash onto floors, walls, and tables just because it's not theirs. Bathrooms are mostly always dirty, hand dryer doesn't work due to students punching it and has been broken for the past year. Older students there have "too much drama" I've went here all throughout my education, it's had its ups and downs. Ps. If your worried about the school being ghetto, it's got significantly less ghetto over the period of time.

The teachers create the most adorable, age-appropriate arts and crafts. She has brought home so many treasures like turkey handprints, green glitter pinecones, and pumpkin worksheets. The school itself is incredibly lively--the front office, doors, and classrooms are always beautifully decorated, often showcasing the children's work and following holiday themes. It's such a warm, joyful environment for learning. When my toddler started at Dragonfly Academy, she was still on diapers, and I was lucky if I could get her to even sit on the toilet. Thanks to the patient and dedicated teachers, she's now fully potty-trained! It warms my heart to see how much she loves her teacher, Ms. Huong, and how excited she is to talk about her classmates. She also comes home with her hair tied in cute hairstyles that are much better than I can do at home haha. I've had the chance to attend several events like the pumpkin patch field trip, the Halloween parade, the Thanksgiving potluck, and the Christmas concert. I watched my daughter, along with other toddlers her age, confidently get up on stage to sing, dance, and follow choreographed moves. It was truly amazing to see how the teachers were able to nurture such confidence and joy in such young children (and got all these toddlers to follow directions!). Each time, I'm blown away by the effort the staff puts into making these events special and engaging for the kids. The staff are absolute professionals when it comes to helping children adjust and feel comfortable. They have a magical way of using stickers, toys, and little treats to ease the transition from parents to the classroom. I'm also grateful for the consistent updates from Ms. Amy, Ms. Daisy, and Ms. Huong about Serena's progress and upcoming events. Dragonfly Academy has been such a blessing for our family.
