They even threatened to put a lien on our house over their mistake. To make matters worse, they tried to get us to sign a contract stating we were satisfied with their services, which we absolutely were not. I had a sewage backup that occurred in my condo bathroom and HVAC drain. I called Servpro at about 7pm (Monday) and the project manager immediately called me back at 830pm that same evening and was willing to travel to me to assess the damages that same night. I scheduled the assessment the next morning and the project manager was able to accommodate my schedule. The project manager, Brad, was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He explained his assessment and explained why. Since there was no insurance claim filed on this incident, I was required to put a 50% down payment. As soon as I made payment, his team was very quick to start with the sewage remediation. By Thursday the team was setting up the containment area (with zippers for me to pass through when needed) and started running the dehumidifiers and air filters. On Friday they started work and by the following Monday they finished the remediation. During the weekend someone even came by to check the moisture levels on the machines. The remediation team, Landon and Jesse, were fantastic with vacuuming everything during and after the cutting of drywall to minimize the spread of dust (an extra precaution since the contamination area was already sectioned off with the filter fans running to catch the dust). They made sure all the trash was properly bagged and that all work was documented through photos. They answered all my questions, tested areas that I had concerns about, and explained the process of spraying and steam cleaning. They were extremely professional and friendly and really helped calm me down during this high stress situation. I would not hesitate to use Servpro again! They are awesome!

They graciously apologized and started the cleanup which took two days longer. Both account mangers Nelfa and Zack said we would not be charged as it wasn't our fault. (I even have emails to support this.). Jesse, mitigation cheif was also there. They were very helpful. Much to our surprise , our bill from Servpro was $1300.00 more than the estimate. When I asked for details for the extra charges to make sure we were not charged for the extra days, we were instead bullied and threatened, no explanation. Ronda said the additional charges were approved by the insurance company which wasn't true. We were not even asked to approve so why not. And if they are experts, the estimate should be close to the final billing unless we were charged extra. Sadly, if you have to bully and threaten, there is something terribly wrong with management. $85.00 if done correctly with the rest of basement compared to $1300.00.
