They are extremely rude and very much not helpful. They towed my car without notifying me. It was being worked on by a friend and he tried to let them know and wouldn't give it to him. So both he knew and they knew that I did not know where my car was. So after the bill is up to a 1000.00 l then get notified by them that they have my car. They didn't notify the bank either because the bank wasn't alerted until they already had my car for 3 weeks. So they are basically holding hostage the car of a single Mom, with two medically fragile kids and who already lost one child to cancer. This is after me getting out of a 5 year long abusive relationship and just trying to get my car fixed so l can work and support my two medically fragile kids. So yeah wouldn't recommend them. Praying my bank can repo my car now, and then I get the fees tacked onto my loan that I am current on. They marked it as being abandoned when it wasn't abandoned. Because my car was not in repot. So l am truly just praying now that all the parties responsible for this mess, including Lance for not notifying me and the bank until the fees were too expensive for a single mother with two disabled kids to be able to get it out. Cause if I was notified with in 72 hours it would have only been about 75$, not 1000, truly feels like a scam. read more

Stayed at the scene after witnessing an accident. A SUV turned left in front of a pickup truck which was being driven straight. The driver of the truck didn't have a chance to stop and not hit her Iif she had swerved into the other lane would have hit me head on. Of course the at fault driver jumped out of her vehicle screaming that the truck hit her, and it was the trucks fault. Police came, spoke to both drivers, and because airbags had been deployed for the SUV turning left and being hit, it couldn't be driven. Lance wrecker service arrived, after some discussion THE SUV was loaded onto the flat bed. The driver of the truck and I both noticed that the front passenger side bumper was pushed back and she couldn't turn the wheel of her truck without taking chunks of rubber off of her tire. .Joe with Lance said he'd be happy to fix it. He put a hook on the bumper and with the hydraulics on the flatbed was able to put enough tension on the bumper to move it away from the tire. I personally didn't have any major issues with them, I just didn't like having to call them to have my vehicle released even though I had already signed the paperwork for it to be picked up. I think this was done just so they could keep charging storage fees. read more

Less than two weeks ago my son was in an auto accident and the officer at the scene called Lance wrecker service to tow the car. My son reported that the service member whom he met at the scene was very nice and helpful but when my son and I went to retrieve things left in the car we were greeted with rudeness and disrespect, if you can call it a greeting because we stood there being ignored (the only customers there) for quite a few minutes before someone acknowledged us from the sidebar without ever coming to the window. We asked to borrow a screwdriver to remove the tags from the car and someone stated "be sure and bring that back". These guys have a bad attitude. No customer services. Once you walk in their old molded leaking roof office, they assume you know how their business works. My first tow with Lance went very well, very friendly driver got right out and got my car first thing. Second tow...a different story. Very rude/unreliable staff. Called for two days to have my car towed and they kept saying they'd show up and never did. After several days of no show with Lance Wrecker, I called Myles Wrecker Service and they are very friendly, both the dispatch and the driver. Myles Wrecker tow rates are right on par and reasonable as well. I suggest going with a friendlier service like Myles, especially when you're already in a stressful situation, and need better customer service. read more

They towed my car from an accident scene to their lot without my consent on location beign towed to. The tow consisted of approximately 2 miles. Their signage says $125 tow fee, they tried to charge me $185 plus an administration fee of $40. The owner said they'd work with me on paying the fees due to being a low income (soc sec only) household. Went to make paying arrangements and was told they don't do that and that I had to have the vehicle removed in 30 days, but it wouldn't move for 90, they'd just "foreclose" on it. This vehicle has a lien holder already (finance company). Also, they are a CASH ONLY (shady) business. So they overcharge you and because it's cash they get away with it. Needless to say, I cannot get my vehicle back and I am screwed because they won't work with me. read more

If I could give this company a zero I would!!!! Our car was stolen and later found. The Lawrenceville Police department quickly recovered it and after their investigation called us to pick it up. It was then picked up on the same day by my son. It was given to him with no issues. He showed proof of ownership and everything required. We receive a certified letter from this company charging us $234 for their services. We call to get information on the fee since the car was never on their premises. We were basically threatened!!!!! Travis at Lance Wrecker was exceptionally hostile!!!!! He immediately said he was going to call the police to report thief by service. How if the car was picked up directly from the Lawrenceville Police department was it stolen???? This company is very unprofessional and I urge you to stay away!!!!!!
