My boyfriend ordered me flowers for same day delivery and they were never delivered after making them aware of the businesses hours. After they weren't delivered we called and they said they don't guarantee arrival time, they should have led with that. If they couldn't accommodate a delivery time they should've known considering they should have schedule and layout of their day. Refund process has been a hassle, he's had to call from different numbers to get them to answer the phone. Poor experience to say the least. read more

I ordered Flowers for Wife , Daughter and Granddaughter for Valentines Day. I understand the time of year and amount of business that they must do on that day but when my granddaughters flowers did not come until 7:00 pm and she was late for dinner because of it , that was frustrating. I called and spoke to them several times explaining the situation and the could not even tell me when it would be delivered or if it was even out for delivery. To make things worse the flowers for my wife were wilted on Saturday 1 day after delivery. Poor quality products + poor service = no business! I will never order from them again. read more

My husband ordered some roses to be delivered to me on Monday, they looked beautiful but I could tell half of the roses were old. By Wednesday they were wilting and by Thursday they were dead. I called flower shop on Thursday morning and left a message, I wasn't expecting a call back that day because it was thanksgiving. All I wanted was for the roses to be replaced, the filler used was very fresh but the roses were not upon arrival. Ironic that I once owned a flower shop and know what is fresh and what is not. Those roses had been sitting in their fridge for a couple of days. It's now Dec 29th and I have yet to receive a call back from them. read more

I am not impressed with this Florist. I purposely limit how often I get flowers for my wife because she loves them and I want it to remain special. So I spent $80 on a small arrangement to be delivered to her while I was at work. It was simple enough to do online and I was very excited for her to experience it being delivered (which was a first time for me). When I got home she was stoked about getting her flowers but explained to me that the girl who delivered it was short, preoccupied, not engaging, and just unhappy all together. This was UNACCEPTABLE. Normally I would call and complain but I didn't want to put a negative mood in the house and most importantly was not looking for compensation. I paid $80 to have the flowers delivered, I shouldn't have to make a phone call because of the service. Plus, the arrangement didn't look all that great, not really something I would hold against them as it was more of a matter of size but it just added to the whole experience. Regardless, my wife was happy I did that for her but I will NOT be using Palmdale-Lancater Florist again. Customer Care would have turned this into a 4-5 Star review. read more

This florist was unable to deliver an arrangement of flowers to the Antelope Valley Hospital when they had the hospital name, address, patients name, patient's room number, patient's bed number. The florist had TWO numbers for members of the patient's family and my cell phone and work numbers. I was not called, the family was not called. I received an EMAIL, saying the patient was NOT in the hospital! I ordered through Avasflowers.net. When I called Avasflowers I was caught in the circle of automated entries for over 15 minutes. The automated operator kept asking for my six digit order number, which I pushed in. The automated operator was giving me other customer's information! I tried over and over. It gave me a different person's name each time, but NOT the person I was calling about. Finally, I was able to reach a LIVE person, who was very helpful, but it is 6:00PM. I ordered the flowers this morning, under "SAME DAY DELIVERY" arrangements. I was trusted with cash by my colleagues to order the flowers for a VERY sick woman, and I failed to do so by using Avasflowers.net which uses the local florist in Lancaster which is Palmdale Lancaster Florist. Words cannot express how upset I am with the disregard for the importance and respect for my business with either Palmdale Lancaster Florist or Ava's Flowers. Both companies are responsible and my friend's wife has yet to receive her flowers! Update: My friend text and said he received the flowers for his wife...it was after 7:30PM. read more

My sister placed an order through 1800flowers.com unfortunately to her luck the assigned florist were these people. She paid for a cute flower arrangement for Mother's Day, unfortunately that is not what my mother received not at all. What she received was a "peace" plant that could have been purchased from the nearby grocery store at less than half the cost she paid. I am disheartened that 1800flowers would be okay with their local agents not using anything close to what the original order was placed. This lonely and sad looking plant brought me to tears thinking of what my mother must've thought. If you are forced to place an order to a loved one through the website please try to verify the florist assigned and their work to make sure their prior work is about what you expect for the recipient. I been coming to this flower shop every year for the last 9 yrs on Valentines & my wife Birthday and get roses delivered to her job never had a problem until now. Went & spend $71 worth of roses & balloon for my wife to be delivered at her job. Well when she got home I asked her if she liked the roses and she said Never got them !! I called the flower shop and was told they delivered them and someone signed for it , so I asked why they were not delivered to specifically to my wife? & the attendant told me they just drop them off at customer service then I asked why I was asked for my wife cell number if they don't call ahead and she reply they asked for the number because a "Protocol", what ever that means which it does make any sense. Then I spoke to the owner and he told me same thing that it was delivered and someone signed for them, I insisted that prior to this year they always deliver to the person is intended so then he turned "Sarcastic" and told me he was going to ask his brother who he gave the flowers to and have the police arrest that person for "Theft" and hang up me. I called back and told the clerk to let the owner know he was very "Unprofessional" especially being the owner to what he said and did to me and I was coming to get my money back. I am extremely disappointed for the Customer Service the owner provided maybe he needs a reminder "Who" the customer is, regardless if it is something he don't want to hear. Is a bad business the way he handled the situation and maybe he won't care but after so many years he lost a customer and I will make sure I will let my family & friends know about the way customer are being treated at the Lancaster Flower shop on Avenue J & 20th St West. They delivered flowers, left them at a door that is out of the way instead of the one most visible. They didn't call even though my number was on their envelope. They didn't ring the doorbell, didn't even put the flowers under the porch. I found them when the wind started blowing parts of the arrangement to the front of the house. By then it had been 10 days since delivery and flowers were frozen and dead. Called twice, they didn't care, it was my fault for not having Ring. Said they would check into it and call me back, said they would give a credit to the sender, they did not. read more

I called Lancaster Florists in a panic on a Saturday afternoon after The Farmer's Wife Florist unexpectedly canceled delivery for flowers I needed sent that day. The woman who answered the phone at Lancaster Florists was so kind and accommodating. They agreed to deliver later that afternoon and while they didn't have all the flowers in stock for the bouquet I wanted (since it was last minute) they not only explained which flowers they could substitute in but also explained how the bouquet would look. Even better, they did not speak Spanish but agreed to write a message in Spanish for me as long as I could spell it over the phone. This was an amazing experience and my friend (who had just come home from a long hospital stay) was blown away. Thanks Lancaster Florists! I will definitely use your services again!! read more

I wanted to give no stars!!! I received my Mother's Day arrangement of a dozen total of lavender and red roses. The roses were old and the leaves were attached to big branches. This was all badly stuffed into a big clear case. No bow, but maybe my hubby hadn't requested one, so I don't know if that's what they agreed upon to be sent and what he paid for. The roses had dark spots throughout the petals, and were so open and limp in areas! Had my hubby seen this he would have been so upset. He ordered these I believe 6 days earlier because he's away on business. I said thank you and left it at that, till the next day. I called. No answer. Wasn't able to even leave a call back number. I was about to walk in to buy flowers for Valentine's day when I see the whole shop crew surrounded a man for parking in front of there store the man had gone to the karate studio. They where all pushing and yelling at him. He tried to walk away. But they wouldn't let him leave. Then the karate owner came out to try and get them to leave the guy alone and that got worse. I got curious the next day and called the city and they said no one in that shopping center was allowed to claim any spots as there exclusive use. It's a shame that people act this way over a parking spot. read more

I received a beautiful arrangement as a surprise for Mother's Day. It arrived Saturday morning, still pristine over 48 hours later - not one petal dropped! My son's new girlfriend sent it from out of town, and I was very happy, and pleased with the flowers. Carnations, daisies, and flowers I don't know, all arranged in a cute canning-type jar. Excellent experience. Was helped by a polite, quiet floral designer. He did not push any products, but let me take my time to look at books of sympathy arrangements, patiently answering questions throughout my lengthy search. A sizable array of fresh flowers to choose from were in buckets in front of me. When I finally decided on none of the pictures in the books, but described what I wanted, the designer calmly wrote down my ramblings and assured me it would look beautiful. Most impressive was that he did not flinch when I asked if it could be delivered to the mortuary in 3 hours. He didn't even charge extra for the rush job! Every time I called the person that answered was rude. They acted like I was inconveniencing them. My sister used them for her wedding and soon figured out it was a mistake. Then I was charged 38 dollars for a baby's breath halo that looked cheap and pathetic. Lancaster florist should really think about changing their attitude towards the customers because we keep them in business.
