She said they were open for grooming and nail clippings I explained to her that my dog has had several bad experiences with nail clippings being too short causing him to bleed, but she did not seem to care that he was scared of his nails getting trimmed. JoAnn called me to set up a time for her to come all the way to my house in the Kenmore area to clip my fur baby's nails from her place of business. It was so wonderful to have someone come to my home and trim my fur baby's nails, after searching for a month, and have him not even be bothered. There is something to be said about a dog being completely comfortable with someone they do not know trimming their nails. She did a fantastic job trimming my dog's nails and she treated him very well. I will definitely have her come by again to do nail trimmings or even travel up to her. I don't think five stars is enough to give her, I think it is +! Thank you for coming by, being so good to my old guy, and doing such a great job!!

The doctors are genuinely excellent -- no complaints there. But when my cat was actively dying and I desperately needed an appointment, they had nothing and sent me to urgent care or emergency care. The urgent care vet was limited in what he could do without my cat's full medical history and test results. Only Brighton-Eggert had it. Comprehensive blood work for the last few years, every 4-6 months. And also the result of the echocardiogram. When your fur baby is dying, you need compassion -- and that's exactly what was missing. A truly compassionate practice shows up for you in the worst moments. This wasn't that. The problems don't stop there. They've also stopped sending prescriptions to third-party pharmacies, a move that forces you to use their in-house pharmacy. They're not in the business of putting your pet first; they're in the business of protecting their revenue streams. Other reviews tell the same story: great vets, but a lack of compassion when you truly need them. If your pet is healthy, they're fine. But if you're facing a crisis, you may find that the compassion and continuity of care you're paying premium prices for simply isn't there. Premium pricing should come with premium support, at least compassionate support, when it matters most. It didn't for us. The doctors are genuinely excellent. But management has lost its way. Read the owner's responses to negative reviews and judge for yourself. We gave them our loyalty and our money without hesitation. What we needed in return was compassion. We didn't get it.

It's hard to rate a vet LOCATION per se, and a lot easier to rate the actual vets. I have to leave 5 stars because I've had terrible, terrible vets in my dog's 8 year life and none of them were at transit animal hospital. I first came here when my dog was very sick. Dr. Reed took the time to explain to me each symptom he recognized and possible diagnoses he was going to test for. It ended up being Lyme disease which came back in the blood work VERY quickly. Dr. Reed went over every single thing in his blood work and test results to explain my dog was actually very healthy despite the Lyme disease. He's gone back several times since. Check ups. New medications for arthritis. Bloat surgery check up. Stitches for a cut. I've never waited more than 15 minutes. I do HAVE to say, a vet tech didn't explain to me my dog's cut would still be fleshy and a little bloody after staples were removed and it really freaked me out. One other vet was a little inattentive. That being said, I'll only be asking for Dr. Reed in the future.

(Also had complete physical with cat rescue a month before that). I expected to pay for just booster shot, but after appointment was completed they charged me an additional $70 for another physical. I have never had this happen with booster shots in the past. I was informed they have to do another physical before the give the booster to make sure cat is ok for booster. It should have been told to me up front when making the booster appointment that it was more then that. Very disappointed in the money grab.
