Today I received a strongly worded letter demanding I remove the defamatory comments. After further investigation I realize I did not have all the information, but more of an emotional reaction. Attorney Josephine Stark is a good Attorney. She communicated back within a reasonable time frame. She did not in anyway waste our time or money. As a business owner myself, I understand how negative comments can and do effect the bottom line. Reputation is a big deal in all professions, and Josephine Stark and the McTague Law Firm did not deserve what I wrote on Yelp. My wife and I sincerely apologize to those who were effected by our negative and distasteful comments. Josephine Stark should expect a personal apology letter tomorrow.

In short, the firm and its administrator (probably through incompetence rather than malice) failed to apply the basic rules of the settlement correctly so we ended up not getting the payment to which we were entitled. We tried to get them to pay via small claims court, but according to the process server, Liddle literally hid from him, and the firm locked the door preventing access! Now it seems law firms are circling again with a follow-up suit in mind, but I will be doing my best to ensure that this firm is not in the running.

Apparently she's the only one who recieves emails for them through their generic email. She was again extremelly rude at answering my question and seemed irritated that I was interested in knowing where the lawsuit was at in the process. Steer clear of this lawyer at all cost... especially for Civil Litigation. His hourly fee seemed…read morereasonable in the beginning but the amount of hours charged were outrageous. He charged for every phone call but failed to attend mediation sessions and even missed a court appearance. After 3 months and $43k in legal fees, we decided to change lawyers. Mr. Posliff was upset and threatened to sue me personally for a "paralyzing" amount. This never materialized but later, I heard rumors that he was collaborating with the plaintiff and advised them to sue me personally. Coincidentally, a second lawsuit was filed against my family and a lien was placed on my home. Thankfully, the second lawyer was competent and got the personal suit tossed out. He also successfully defended the original lawsuit and averted a catastrophe. Get the best lawyer money can buy and avoid this guy at all cost. It makes me sick that I paid nearly $50k to someone who was working against me.
