The walls are full of ideas, manufacturers, styles and colors. I felt creative and inspired right away. A gentleman working outside of the showroom recommended we sign in to reserve a space in line (if we wanted to speak with a design consultant). We didn't at first but after seeing so many options and narrowing down a few choices, we put our names down. The wait gave us plenty of time to continue walking the showroom and finding more things we liked. A design consultant took information down about our choices, to confirm tile sizes available and if we could get a quick turnaround on delivery. She also asked about our kitchen space (cabinets, flooring, etc.) after hearing we were interested in a color. As a general rule kitchen backsplashes are often neutral, which I appreciate, but my kitchen is vomiting neutral and I need a pop of color. It was worth every penny to remove the beige/brownish tile we inherited from the previous owners. We were able to check out a panel to take home and liked it immediately. (My husband moved it every couple of hours to a new spot in the kitchen!) Ordering is more permanent here -- no returns, so make sure you like what you get and don't over order the supply. Freight is also charged which is not what we experienced elsewhere. Grout options and silicone were also available for order, which we added to the order. Tile arrived as promised and we paid at pick-up. Excited to complete our backsplash! Mees Tile will certainly be at the top of our list for future tile and flooring purchases.

After examining the breaker box and confirming the issue wasn't in there, the journeyman and apprentice wanted over $1,000 just to investigate the issue further in a few days (no guarantee they would find the issue or fix it). I sent them away, and reached out to Zwicker Electric instead. This master electrician came out same-day, and was able to diagnose and resolve the issue for $135. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He now has a customer for life, and I encourage you to hire him too!

I sent an email outlining my issue and within 24 hours I was receiving a call with an explanation of what may be the issue and even an estimate to fix it.. Any questions I've had leading up to the installation in the past few months, large or small, has always been responded to quickly, thoroughly and accurately. The delivery men were accommodating, friendly and on time - I appreciated their attention and attentiveness to our needs and consideration. Unfortunately, I didn't catch their names. The installation/delivery manager was in regular and consistent contact prior to the installation and worked with me when the flooring contractors were delayed and our timeline shifted. He said what he was going to do and made sure it happened without a hitch. Much appreciated. Ron, Heather and John were the epitome of professional, courteous and very capable contractors - something I'm sure you know that not all contractors are or care to be. With the stress of a major & expensive remodel, tensions are often high and fuses run short, but this crew's competency allowed me to focus on managing the rest of the contractors and hit my own milestones to keep this remodel on schedule. I really want to make sure that the company we chose would respect the age and take care of it. I had 3 estimates and Korfhage was competitive. We needed the entire house refinished with adding new red oak in two room's. This included the staircase. Patrick came out a couple of days after I reached out. He provided the estimate in a timely fashion. Stan and his crew were amazing. He educated us on the floors we had and respected the age/ quality. He knew his stuff. Patrick told us it would take possibly 1.5 weeks and it did. They knew we were on a time crunch because we were about to move in, and they accommodated. I would hands down use them again. So I asked if it turned out to be just the plug would it be cheaper. I was told no so I told them to replace breaker if I was already having to pay for it. i feel like I was taken advantage of and will not be using this company in the future.
