This review is solely about Dr Daoud. Nobody ever wants to need a cardiologist, especially in your 30s. But I needed one, and I found this place by accident. From the first appt, Dr Daoud showed me immediately that he actually gives a damn about his patients. He listened to me, didn't make me feel rushed, his bedside manner is incredible and compassion filled, and he explained what he thought my issue was so that I clearly understated it, as well as whether it is more of an electrical issue or plumbing issue with my heart as he described it. He got me on medication that was helping and is helping, and every visit since he's been so caring and understanding, especially my latest one where I was very much not ok for mostly unrelated reasons. I cannot recommend him enough and just wish the office side this practice were better. I'm so glad and lucky to have such an excellent and kind doctor in general, but especially when it comes to such a vital human organ

I even went in and personally left a message for the doctor that was written down by the receptionist because I was having such a hard time getting my prescription and there was still no follow-up. I ended up getting my prescription filled by another clinic. There was no contact with my doctor or LVHA until my next appointment and needless to say, I was pretty bitter. It felt like a money grab to me. Like patients are no longer important after the check clears for their appointment. Las Vegas Heart Associates and Las Vegas healthcare, in general, needs an overhaul.

I would like to say THANK YOU to the staff, especially Monica and SHY, phlebotomists who have cured my fear and anxiety about having blood extracted. I wouldn't keep coming here unless everything was on the up and up. I had a different Primary care doctor and he referred me to Dr. Fonte. I stopped seeing that doctor (he told me nothing would improve my condition), but I've seen Doctor Fonte ever since, and I will continue to see him. Ever since my son was one, I made a lifestyle change (low sodium meals during the week, one meal has meat, allowing two cheat days, and exercise five days a week, being mindful of my daily steps with my tracker), because I wanted to be here longer for him, as Genetics can be a factor. (I do free weights, yoga, walking, and recently added Zumba to my rotation. If I am sick, I rest.) I was a little concerned (guess, 'cause I also did this last year) when I saw the doc because this appointment turned into three more appointments- the treadmill test and the EKG, and then a follow-up, to go over the results. Well, I also got some blood work done, my insurance will only allow a screening every six months. I got a call stating that a level was a bit high (but I wasn't overly concerned with that). But I get it, he wanted to be sure. And so...I did very well, he seemed to be impressed that I lasted the eleven minutes on the treadmill. My heart is healthy. So, my next appointment is next year. Yay!

The office manager is just as rude, and very unprofessional. Most of the staff is overweight which boggles my mind as this is a cardiologist office. I wouldn't go to a overweight personal trainer at the gym. They do push statins immediately even when you don't need it. I had to refuse and get outside opinions with a 0 CAC SCORE, they still pushed statins. I am very healthy. I will be looking to find another doctor as the front desk girls are lazy and no one wants to work thanks to COVID scam. Anyways I'd recommend you look elsewhere for a doctor.

Firstly, I wanna start by saying the staff has not been rude by any means, but just extremely unprofessional and unorganized. I started going to this doctor, specifically Dr. Noorda, because of the incredible reviews he had about him as far as his practice and medicine... I wanna make it very clear that I am only continuing to come to this office because of the incredible care that I've received from Dr. Noorda and only because of that. Otherwise, it has been extremely frustrating and an impeccable waste of my time... I Initially went in 11/26 to get blood drawn and provide samples that I was asked for for testing... When I arrived, there was a ton of confusion on what test were actually supposed to be performed on me so that was frustrating, and then after they finally figured everything out, and I was able to provide them with the correct paperwork, they took the samples they thought I needed it, and I proceeded to leave the office as normal... Literally less than three minutes later they called me back to back letting me know if I'm able to rush back in. They forgot to give me some test that we're on the list for me that day, which was already a red flag, but I decided that everyone makes mistakes and I went back in with no problem., Mind you I live over 25 minutes away, so this is not convenient travel wise for me by any means, but I will travel anywhere for good care. Fast-forward to today, December 4, I go in for my appointment to drop off the test that I was sent home with 11/26 to test me further, and when I went in to drop off the samples, everything appeared to be fine. I gave them to the phlebotomist, And I left... As per usual. Unbeknownst to me, I'm driving 25 minutes away to go back home and get back to work, I'm on a work call as I drive home and I noticed that Mountain View called me twice back to back... I'm on an important call so I cannot switch over, and the first thing I thought is there is absolutely no way they are calling me because they forgot something again, I am already traumatized that happened to me the first time. Once I was finished with my work call, I gave them a call back lo and behold just to find out that yet again they incorrectly read my charts. They told me that the way that the tests were requested. We're all on one line and was confusing the phlebotomist told me she had to ask aOnce I was finished with my work call, I gave them a call back low and behold just to find out that yet again they incorrectly read my charts. They told me that the way that the tests were requested. We're all on one line and was confusing the phlebotomist told me she had to ask a nurse how to also read the paperwork just for them to call back and tell me they need an additional 5+ tests and that I ultimately wasted my time coming down and giving them the test that I drove 25 minutes to give them, because That wasn't actually all of the test that I was supposed to provide to them initially, which was completely unbeknownst to me because they literally never told me . So now I have to go back for my appointment December 18, but we were originally supposed to discuss all of the results that I had already sent in, now that Appointment is essentially obsolete because the testing still isn't done, mind you I have driven back-and-forth to the office more than five times now trying to achieve the same results and something that should be extremely simple... all she could literally tell me verbatim was "well you don't have to drive back up here if you don't want to I was just making you aware"... Girl of course I have to drive back up there. This is my health we're talking about, no matter how frustrating it is I'm going to do whatever it takes to finally get these test submitted, but wow the hoops I've had to go through is crazy! I'm typically not want to complain, but the situation has left me feeling helpless and in disbelief!

For the past 3 hours I've been walking around my house carrying my phone with me like a fool waiting and hoping Dr. Reed will call me for my scheduled appointment, and giving her excuses like shes just behind schedule or something, but this is ridiculous! No phone call and no excuse. This is the third time this doctor has done this to me and I feel foolish for even waiting and sitting here still hoping she will call for my appointment. Dr. Reed had me retake my bloodwork because the first time I had the bloodwork drawn in their office, their in home lab mixed up my bloodwork and I received some body else's results. If that wasn't scary enough, I am now sitting here 3 hours to go over my new bloodwork results( taken at Quest to be safe) and apparently Im not important enough for her to call so I think I'll be moving on from this office.
