I met dr Lambert about ten years ago when I took my mother to see him. Now he is also my cardiologist. He is a great doctor. His waiting room is always very busy but no one seems to mind that. You will only hear comments such as, 'I know he's very busy but it is worth it', 'I don't mind the wait as he has helped me tremendously', etc. I would very highly recommend him. read more

When you make an appointment a year in advance, get to the office 15 minutes early to make sure you are not late. Check in and they quickly take your co-pay and you sit for an hour half and watch people that came in after you go back. Go to the front desk and ask hey I have been here and I'm watching people go back that came in after me, oh well those people called and checked in, hummm I was never given that option. Oh there are still 2 more patients ahead of you. I could have stayed home and worked called in on my appointment time and showed up an hour or two later and get taken right back. I expressed to them that my time is just as valuable as theirs. read more

Dr Thomas Lambert is a very knowledgeable and good doctor. Unfortunately, his staff is horrible. They are rude when you're in the office waiting 2 hours to see the doctor after you schedule your appointment. They do not answer their phone when you call the office you have to leave a message. Then there is a 50/50 chance they will call you back. They have messed up my prescriptions and lab work paperwork. They do follow through on what they say they are going to do. I had my pharmacist call and say they have called them 3 times to renew a prescription, left messages and the staff did not call them back. I to the point I just do even go there anymore, and I have not been to find another cardiologist yet. Disappointed. read more

Dr. Lambert first of all is very very friendly. He's very respected and has had many years experience as a professional cardiologist. I feel very safe with him, taking care of my heart .I highly recommend him the only problem I've ever had is it takes a while to get an appointment because he is so so popular. read more

I am not a patient here my elderly mother is. I have to say that she really needs to find another cardiologist Any doctor who makes patients wait HOURS for a scheduled appointment during Covid is absolutely NOT a good doctor at all. These are vulnerable cardiac patients crammed into a crowded waiting room. There is no excuse whatsoever for this. Hire another doctor to help you or limit the number of appointments. Office is poorly run - expect to wait hours for a scheduled appointment. They realize this but do not change their scheduling practices because apparently our time is not valuable. The doctor is only as good as the office manager and this one falls short. read more

Dr. Lambert himself, is a wonderful doctor with great bedside manner. His office staff, on the other hand, is rude and unprofessional. My mother is their patient, I am the one who takes care of all her medical experiences. Trying to call the office and having them follow through with faxing medical records, or just having someone to help altogether is like pulling teeth. They are rude and unwilling to help. We were supposed to have an EKG faxed to another doctor, promising it was going to be done right away. Seven days later, the day before the surgery with another doctor, they still don't have the information. Calling and trying to get that fax over right away was as if I were asking for a miracle when it was already have supposed to be taken care of. I was call "Ma'am" in that condescending tone twice. It left me reeling and in tears. They are awful and should be retrained to have in an ounce of respect and leave patients like they've been taken care of. By the way, their phone systems are always "down" or someone is hanging up the phone immediately upon answering. This was BEFORE I was able to make a request. I had to call back 12 times to get someone to answer or for the phone to go to a mailbox that was already full before getting hung up on again. read more

Dr a Lambert is very thorough but I had a horrible experience with his office manager, Danielle. She was so rude and unapologetic for her rudeness I guess I'll be looking for a new doctor. Too bad for the doctor he probably has no idea. read more

I love Dr. Lambert. He is a very caring physician. He actually looks at your chart and listens to all of your complaints. If he can take care of something right away, he does. He works hard to resolve difficult issues. If I hadn't moved out of state, I would still be going to him. I have never had a cardiologist who takes time. Sometimes there is a wait, but it doesn't bother me because I know he will take whatever time is needed with me. He works late hours and will visit patients in the ER; most personal doctors will not do this. My only complaint is that his office manager never returns calls. That is no reflection of him as a doctor though. Wait time is also no reflection of his skills as a doctor. Long waits only mean that he is taking time with each individual or there was an emergency that needed his attention. He is amazing! I love this doctor! read more

I was referred to Dr. Lambert's office twice by my primary care physician. They sent the referral and images and reports from some tests and scans which had been performed, but Dr. Lambert's office (more about this below) "was having trouble with our fax" and claimed it hadn't received either. I only learned about this after trying to call at all hours of the business day about 20 times. When it wasn't during the "we're closed every day between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM" voice message, it was "our office is now closed". It appears the ONLY time you can actually speak to a human being in this office is between 3:00 and 3:15. I know because once when I called (after figuring this window out) at 3:16 - the office was now closed. I left message after message - all I wanted was to make an appointment, which my primary care provider said was my responsibility. Wrong - on the day BEFORE they made an appointment FOR me (without ever contacting me to establish my availability - I wasn't - already had another appointment elsewhere when they wanted me to come in). I did NOT receive their voicemail message about this appointment until less than 12 hours before they expected me to be in their office. I couldn't go, and knowing the futility of trying to speak to a human being there I was unable to call back "during business hours" to let them know. THEN - and this is the capper of it all - a half hour AFTER THE APPOINTMENT THEY MADE FOR ME HAD PASSED, their robo-caller left another message on my voicemail (I was at the other pre-existing appointment elsewhere) REMINDING ME TO ARRIVE 15 minutes early for my appointment to complete paperwork. So my review is NOT about Dr. Lambert, except to the extent that he is the apparently responsible person for this inept, or potentially negligent office conduct. He may be the best cardiologist on the planet for all I know - but then I'll never find out for sure because they hide behind technology problems (which I seriously doubt ever existed), and voice mail systems which they never review or answer. Incidentally two days after my missed appointment they called to remind me how important I am to them, and how much they look forward to being my healthcare provider. NOT. read more

Be prepared to wait for a long time for your scheduled appointment. My appointment is at 0330, and was not seen until 0520. This happened twice. I guess that's just how they run their office. I'm very patient but geez, never been into a doctors office where I have to wait this long. Other than the wait, he's very nice and listens to you. Staff is ok. read more

I was referred to Dr Lambert to get cardiology clearance for an upcoming surgery. I saw him twice and had two other visits to his office for tests he ordered. Total wait time for all 4 visits combined was less than 30 minutes which is absolutely remarkable and much appreciated. The receptionist remembered me by name after the first visit. The lady who did my treadmill test and heart monitor was very pleasant kind and experienced. The doctor himself was easy to talk to. He answered questions in terms I could understand without a medical degree and had a very patient and kind demeanor about him. The office is clean and located in a very nice campus. Come a little early because parking can be a challenge but other than that I have no complaints. If you need a cardiologist I would recommend Dr. Lambert as a very competent and personable physician. read more

So disappointing. Read some great reviews before scheduling an appt with Dr. Lambert. My appointment was for 10:45 and after waiting for over an hour, I finally had to leave so I wouldn't be late for work. The receptionist could not have cared less and offered no explanation or apology. This office must think that it is acceptable to make patience wait this long. Why accept an appointment if you cannot keep it. Why is it so hard to find a good doctor in the town?! read more
