But now that I found Jeff Stubblefield on Yelp, I really want to add my experience. I acquired a mare wearing shoes, and after a few months her hooves had grown a lot so the shoes really needed to come off and the hooves needed trimming. She allowed us to try, try again, and try again...and none of us or the people we hired (a farrier, mind you!) could remove those shoes. The overzealous cowboy up in the mountains had done superior work, and there was no danger this horse would ever throw a shoe! Jeff Stubblefield was recommended to me, and within 20-30 minutes, the mare was free of shoes with hooves freshly trimmed. Jeff does quick, efficient, quick work for a fair price. That's why he's so busy, trimming hooves six days a week all over middle Tennessee.

Very frustrating since we had to take time off work to meet with her and then ended up sitting around for nothing. Tried to text/call her and absolutely no response. Tried to be understanding in the beginning but we have now wasted a month trying to get her out to service our horses and now we're back at the start of trying to find a reliable farrier.
