This review is specifically about Dr. Ashish Patel. I've been visiting this office for two years. I…read morewas switched to Dr. Patel after Dr. Sankoorikal left, and I am terribly disappointed with the service I've received. My first visit with him was just ok. He doesn't come off as caring, he's not very personable, and I just didn't get a good feeling from him. I had my second visit with him today, and it was terrible. I told him my problem, he asked a couple questions, did a brief exam, then prescribed some medication. I then let him know I had something else to discuss, and he told me I couldn't. He said, "with these 15 minute ones, they want me to stick to one thing". He then said, well if it's quick I can try to help, while standing at the partially open door. Of course I declined at that point. He then said "they want us to do one thing well instead of two things shitty". I felt totally rushed and uncomfortable, and I was actually taken back by his remark. IMO we don't know each other well enough to use cuss words in a professional setting. Especially when I'm on the losing side of the conversation. I've never had a doctor that refused to help me. I could possibly understand if we were close to the 15 minute mark, but we weren't. I spoke with him for less than 10 minutes. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a doctor's appointment, and I will not be returning. The rest of the staff is warm and friendly. I've always had great interactions with them. Maybe the other doctors here do a better job of making their patients feel heard, but Ashish Patel certainly DOES NOT.

He is kind and personable, a true detective when it comes to diagnosis, and always takes my concerns seriously. I've searched tirelessly for a new physician since moving to another state, meeting with 15+ "top-rated" physicians in a major metropolitan area, and none of have compared to Dr. Adcox and FMS. I continue working with him remotely as a result. The practice itself is superbly run--medical staff are personable and professional, and billing/front desk staff always take care of their patients. Don't waste time with other doctors--go to FMS or join Dr. Adcox's concierge practice!

Completely unprofessional and zero respect for patients' time…read more My first in-person appointment involved a 30-minute wait with no update and no apology from the doctor, followed by them forgetting to send in my prescription. I tried to give them grace, but the virtual follow-up was even worse. The breaking point was a virtual follow-up appointment that the doctor requested. I did everything right: filled out the electronic paperwork ahead of time, logged in early, and verified my information with the nurse. I sat in the virtual waiting room for 30 minutes (20 minutes past my appointment time) before I had to disconnect to go back to work. When I messaged the portal to explain my frustration, they ignored the message and proceeded to call my phone NINE times in a row without leaving a voicemail. To make matters worse, they refused to proactively refund the copay they required be paid in advance. had to take even more time away from work to call their billing department directly just to get my copay back.
