They even have weekend and daytime availability, which is super convenient. Let me tell you, JaPriest is absolutely excellent! He's my therapist and one of the best I've ever had. He treats you with kindness, respect, and absolutely no judgment. His advice is top-notch, and after a session with him, I always leave feeling better than when I came in. Plus, he's the group leader during our outpatient sessions and has a great style that I really like. He even jokes around with us, which makes the atmosphere more relaxed. Speaking of the group, I have nothing bad to say about it personally. I was scared at first, thinking I would do terrible or that people would judge me. But they have some rules in place, like not passing judgment on anyone and not apologizing when it's not your fault and as a group they've helped me become a much less of a people pleaser and be a person whose a lot more assertive in things and confident they've also taught me my worth as a human is way more than what I thought it was going in I had the worst confidence and through soley this out patient group at the transformation center I really do feel I've made a huge huge transformation. It's thanks to Ja Priest and the group and his encouraging words that I've learned not to blame myself for things that aren't my fault. That's something I've never been told by a previous therapist. JaPriest always finds a way to fit me into his schedule. He's really accommodating and makes sure I get the support I need. Overall, The Transformation Center has been a game-changer for me, and I highly recommend it!

And the appointment after Christmas she spent the entire session telling me about her Christmas lunch at the Peabody, which included new potatoes, with her friend who ate too slow and so they missed the movie. There were people with all sorts of behavior issues; mine were minor compared to the other. They helped me stay current with my school work. They helped me to deal and learn the tools I needed to exist. There were times I felt it was all stupid and beneath me, but ten years later...I appreciate all the work they do. We attempted to schedule an appointment for a minor at Germantown Psychological Associates. What…read moreshould have been a straightforward intake process became a series of administrative errors, inaccurate explanations of federal policy, and unprofessional conduct that created unnecessary barriers to care. Based on this experience, I would never feel comfortable entrusting my family's care to this practice.Save yourself the headache. Explore other providers. Major issues encountered: Intake forms promised via email were never sent, and no clear appointment confirmation was provided -- despite multiple phone calls. And that's if the intake department even calls to begin with after requesting the appointment on the initial call. The intake department had to be called weeks later and prompted to initiate our intake process, which includes several digital forms. After forms were not received, we were informed of a policy that appointments are cancelled if paperwork isn't submitted in advance -- a tricky requirement when the paperwork itself was never issued. If you want a disgruntled young lady with a flat affect to condescendingly explain how your email's spam folder works, this is the practice for you! Spoiler Alert: The intake forms were not in the spam folder even after I learned how to check it, much to my good sis's chagrin. During the multiple phone conversations required to correct their administrative oversight, staff consistently demonstrated a condescending, dismissive tone. Staff explicitly refused to verify insurance coverage and redirected us to handle it ourselves in a dismissive manner. After we believed everything had been addressed, there was still ambiguity regarding whether the intake appointment even remained scheduled. When I arrived in person with a completed copy of the intake form and attempted to confirm the appointment, staff refused to confirm anything because I did not have a Release of Information. In this instance, no protected health information was being requested or shared -- we were attempting to confirm whether an intake appointment existed for a patient not yet established in care. Rather than clarify policy or escalate appropriately, the interaction became argumentative. As tensions rose, the office manager physically raised her hand to silence me in conversation rather than addressing the administrative breakdown. If nothing else, their commitment to the bit was admirable, albeit concerning. At no point was there accountability, clarity, or an effort to repair the situation so that a minor could access needed clinical assessment services. For a practice offering ADHD and psychological assessments, administrative precision, accurate policy communication, and respectful interaction should be foundational. Instead, this experience created barriers to accessing care. We promptly withdrew our paperwork and sought services elsewhere. For something as sensitive as securing healthcare for your family, the intake process should not feel adversarial. I left discouraged that families in our community may encounter this level of disorganization and dismissiveness when seeking care. Families navigating psychological evaluations are already managing significant stress. Administrative disorganization and inaccurate policy explanations should not compound that burden.

Pamela Keeling-Nuttall is fantastic! During her time working…read morein New Jersey, I began my visits with her. Unfortunately, due to her move from New Jersey down to Tennessee, we were forced to part ways. Due to certain circumstances that I had faced within my personal life, I began seeking therapy sessions. As luck would have it (through the medical center that I went through), I was partnered up with Pamela. Pamela immediately made me feel "at ease". I could open up to her about all that I was going through, without any sort of fear of being "judged". I always felt that she listened to my words with an open and understanding mind. Throughout the years (of our meetings), there were times that I didn't exactly follow the path of guidance that she had given. But, nonetheless, she was alwaysss compassionate and understanding of all of the words that I spoke to her. After each meeting, I walked away with a feeling of my mind "being opened" to a new perspective. She helped me tremendously with thinking of my situation from a different perspective. She helped to open my eyes to "the other side of things". When seeking therapy, most search for a person that will "just listen" or just "be a shoulder to cry on", but with my visits with Pamela, I had all of that and then some... NEVER ONCE did I feel guilty about my life's choices and NEVER ONCE did I feel judged/pressured by the words that she said to me... Pamela has SUCHHH a kind heart! She ONLY thinks of the betterment of her clients! In the world that we all currently live in, it's a RARITY to find a person that will listen to all of our words, and give an unbiased, heartfelt, looking-out-for-our-best-interest response... And Pamela gave that to me. She is a VERYYY kind and genuine human being. She is the type of "kind and genuine" that you would, without a moment of hesitation, personally vouch for her level of passion and integrity. Although she moved moved manyyy states away, I still feel connected to her because of all of the tools that she gave to me. Pamela is a true helper and a true partner. She cares about YOU. Her passion is to ensure that you can better yourself. Those that live in Tennessee should consider themselves lucky to have her because, MOST DEFINITELY, New Jersey misses her!
